Let’s Not Circle Back To This One - Edit
Some time ago, I made it my personal quest to visit every single one of this venue’s sister restaurants to sample their all-you-can-eat menus. As this is not an option at this locale, I was not champing at the bit to get here, but would do in time. Well, the day finally came when I was in striking distance, so I thought it would be rude not to give it a chance: I wish I hadn’t bothered.
Read moreThings actually got off on a positive note, the date smoothie was as good as I remember it being from time spent trawling the other Circles, but it was a swift decent into mediocrity and downright chaos after this. Yes, the fries were quite good, but the ‘Super Bowl’ that I endured was anything but. Lifeless and ultimately boring, it lacked any real character, and more importantly, flavour. After this rather flaccid affair, I paid my dues and left; though this was not the end. As I ambled down the boardwalk, lamenting the meal that had been, I was rather unceremoniously accosted by my server who appeared out of nowhere to harangue me with accusations of not paying my bill. Despite having evidence to the contrary, they insisted on my guilt and only upon returning to the restaurant did they realise their mistake.
The whole episode sullied what was already a sub-par experience. I have the feeling that I won’t feel inclined to return here.
