Aweome to be able to eat cigköfte in Budapest again! - Edit
I feel exactly like Zsanett below - I was SO happy when I learned that this restaurant chain will open a location again in Budapest - I visited the previous place frequently, and I really missed it ever since it got closed almost 6 years ago... I love cigköftem, so I'm happy I can eat it again frequently. I have already visited the new place several times on weekends, and the taste of the spicy dough is just as good as I remembered. I have also tried other options that are available, like the lentil soup, kibbeh, falafel and the dough in sushi-format, and everything tasted nice - but the wrap with the spicy dough still remains my favourite - the soft dough combined with the crispy vegetables is, to me, a much better wrap-experience, both in taste and texture, than a falafel wrap you can get at kebab places.
Read moreThe location of the restaurant is easily accessible (right at the stop 'Harminckettesek tere' of tram no. 4-6), and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and open for special requests (e.g. removing certain ingredients).
The only two cons I can mention are that the place is closed on Sundays, and that the labelling (especially outside) could easily make visitors believe that the place is all-vegan, whereas this is not the case: they do carry some vegetarian items like Ayran and desserts.

Today I accidentaly found this restaurant on Happycow, and I was so happy, because they had another restaurant in Budapest years ago, but finally they closed, and I really missed it. So today I could eat again an amazing wrap, and I am sure I will go back on weekends. It's cheap, tasty, staff is friendly, and you can go there easily by 4-6 tram or by metro 3 or 4 (it's one station from both metro lines)! 😉
