We had two dishes - Tacu Tacu and Plancha -, both portions were gigantic, both with lot (and I mean A LOT) of sauce making it bit hard to taste the other ingredients as yucca and plantains. We got bowl of rice gratis, which helped with the sauce. Overall good experience!

Made a reservation with 6 of my friends and my oh my we had a great time here. First off the owner is so kind and fantastic and gave me all vegan ideas/recs. They also have pisco sours and made mine without egg whites! I got the wonton appetizer and the tofu salad and I was SO FULL. Definitely go here

If you are in fortuna this place is a must just call ahead if you can the place is packed if ask for the vegan options you will hit the jackpot. The chef sat in our table and told us that he has been working on his recipes for about 8 years. We ended up ordering one of each of the vegan dishes to try them all. The Won Ton and the Tofu salteado are espectacular and the rest of the dishes were simply extraordinary. The chef’s smile when he sees his customers enjoying is probably the most honest proof of the passion and love he puts in his recipes.

Super local "hole in the wall" vibe. It feels so authentic. Being new to Peruvian dishes, our mouths did a happy dance!! HIGHLY recommend: Yuquitas Con Quinoa (app) and Tacu Tacu Vegetariano (main).

We really enjoyed the vegan options we ordered here. We had the crunchy tofu saltado and the yucca fries topped with a flavourful quinoa salad (you could taste lemongrass in it: so good!). Very happy we tried it out. Note that the wantons can't be made vegan (there's egg in the wrapper -- but the host tells you this).

Literally made an account for the first time just to give a review because they deserve it. It’s like a cute little hole in the wall type place but an absolute gem. The food was insanely delicious, presented so beautifully too. We also had the nicest server who was working so hard because they were understaffed and like pulled everything off so well. It’s really good food and worth waiting if you have to ... they have LOTS of vegan options and are SUPER helpful with all questions. They know what’s up. It was superb... I have to come back to La Fortuna because they didn’t have the vegan Kalu Wantan and I seriously will haha.

When we arrived there were no Tofu or quinoa left, the waiter kindly went buying one from the store in order to satisfy our needs. The food is exceptionally good (the ceviche is excelle and it changes from the vegan food that you eat in other restaurant) and the waiter was super nice and very cheerful. I would recommend to anyone in la fortuna to go there.

We stumbled upon this location while walking through La Fortuna and saw that it was definitely a hot spot so decided to try it! They were able to make nearly every dish vegan so that was amazing since they are not fully vegan. It isn't the "healthiest" but it certainly satisfies that chinese food craving😄staff was lovely as well!
