Cheese Steak 😍 - Edit
The waitress was super friendly, and the food was delicious. They accommodated my husband’s request to use beyond meat instead of seitan. I got it too, and it was terrific! It was quiet for Friday at noon. I love coming here!

I debated what to get because everything looked so good! But I decided to get the eggs Benedict because I love breakfast and it’s hard to come across a great vegan breakfast. The hollandaise sauce is so cheesy and delicious. The chickn is thick and well cooked, the egg is delicious, as well as the biscuit. Try it out!! #Veganuary

Best Vegan Cheese EVER - Edit
I have never been to a place that had such AMAZING vegan cheese. Apparently the recipe took 7 tries and is completely nut free! This place has all the comfort food you could ever want. Never seen a place with vegan eggs benedict before! All day breakfast too. I will be returning.

We returned yesterday for lunch and everything was amazing again. I had the mushroom cheese steak and OMG! My husband had the patty melt and it was too large for him to finish. We also enjoyed the "mozahella" sticks. We had enough leftover for dinner and it was just as good! We basically want to try every item on the menu.

Cheezy Vegan's staff is so nice. You immediately feel welcomed when you walk-in. I ordered the Chick'n N Waffles. The chick'n was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My partner had the crab cake, being from MD it's hard to have MD style outside of the land of pleasant living, but this was a nice substitute. The flavors melded nicely upon a very fluffy roll. As an app, we split the cheezy fries with coconut bacon! Coconut bacon might be my new favorite thing!

We walked in a few minutes to closing, (I know, I know) but instead of sending us away they let us order to go. So nice! We had the reuben sandwich and a cheese steak and am order of wings. Everything was so good. I dont live near here but I'll definitely come back cor this amazimg vegan food.

Superior Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
Delicious food, a friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, and an enthusiastic chef/owner – what more can anyone ask for? My friend and I were so excited to eat here that we ordered an enormous batch of food – two kinds of wings, strawberry salad, nachos, fried macaroni and cheese, stuffed chocolate chip cannoli French toast. All of it was amazing. The server was incredibly nice and helpful. The chef actually came to our table and asked us how we we liked the food - and actually hung out with us for a few minutes. It was a superb experience and even though this restaurant is incredibly far away from me, I plan to go back again soon, with the same friend and also with others. Thank you, Chef Reeky, for a wonderful vegan feast!

Hopes not met, want to love it, but don't. - Edit
Really like the idea, staff awesome, incredibly responsive, incredibly diverse menu, but I'm not happy. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all I was taught, but after 2 attempts to enjoy, I'm left with a bad feeling in my belly. Re-creation of old standards in a vegan way is a wonderful aspiration, but each time I've ordered, Swissful Thinking first time and Turkey Club with a side of Tomato Bisque the second time, I was left with very poorly feeling, almost sick, couldn't even finish the bisque. I have to call this vegan junk food and not comfort food. To be honest, I feel the same after a Beyond or Impossible Burger so it's likely my stomach rather than the food, given all the GREAT reviews of Cheezy Vegan, but I still feel compelled to share. I've been fully plant-based for over 3 years and cook healthy meals based upon fresh veggies, legumes, beans, nuts etc. and occasional homemade gluten/seitan-based "meats" and "sausages", lots of greens and salads. Prior to becoming vegan I could eat just about anything, but for some reason Cheezy Vegan does not agree with me. I truly wish them the best as I'm totally impressed that they fill a huge void in approachable vegan dining, but for me it doesn't work. Is it that so much of what I tried contains relatively processed ingredients? Don't know. I'm not trying to put a damper on anyone's expectations as the concept is laudable. Maybe I'll go back and try one of the cauliflower or oyster mushroom based recipes which are more in my wheelhouse as I really want to see these guys succeed.

I know, it's literally their theme, but I legitimately think I would have enjoyed the cheesetata, the eggs benedict, and the nachos a lot more if they didn't have all that cheese. Even with the omelettes, I have started building my own so that I can substitute more veggies for the cheese. It's just too much for me. The Mac was weird. IDK man.
Read moreCheese aside, very friendly staff and stellar omelettes. I have had a lot of good vegan shakes, but theirs are probably the best ones yet (can't go wrong with chocolate). I also recommend their seitan wings, especially if you like them on the crispy side. Great selection of desserts as well.

I was in Philly for two nights and went there for dinner the first night with my family. The people working were incredibly sweet and even the chef came out to tell us about their products and how things are made. I had the philly cheese steak and the portion was so big that I had to bring the other half home.

Definitely worth it for the price and staff is amazing.

I stumbled upon this place scrolling through Instagram. Every picture looked amazing. Got my order to go and I wasn’t disappointed. Their special Mac & Cheese Grilled Cheese was the bomb. Can’t wait to return and try some of their all day breakfast offerings.
