Absolutely loved this place. The food and price were decent. There are different options to choose from and I like the concept of street food and self-service. The cashew milk is a must-try. I'll definitely come back for more.

Read moreThe guy who welcomed us made it clear all f&b they offer is vegan. The only salad on the menu is a noodle salad. They were happy to accommodate my request for a 'noodless' salad. Food is tasty and inexpensive. Ample choice.
Wholegrain bread/noodles/rice would make it even better.

We were here tonight. We both had the Banh Mi. OMGosh! It’s the best Manh Mi that I have tasted ever! The restaurant is quirky. They give you a piece of paper and you write/tick what you had and pay at the end. There is so much choice, it’s a sort of self service with ladies also serving. I loved this place so much that we will definitely be back lots in the next few days. It was absolutely packed with people so is obviously really popular. It’s a lovely atmosphere and cool vibe too.

This place is a whole vibe. I went here on the 15th of lunar month after the lunar year so a lot of Vietnamese people opt for vegan food on that day. So the place was packed, but somehow it worked out perfectly. Ordering was easy with a menu sheet and a nice lady helped me get my food. Food was really really delicious, prepared in front of your eyes and pretty authentic in my opinion.

We ate here twice in three days as it was a quick, tasty meal with a relaxed vibe. Some of the food is self-serve (but still very fresh) and some of it is made to order. If you’re new to Vietnam, ask the staff how the ordering works and if there’s any dishes that aren’t available. The staff were very friendly and helpful to tourists!

This was one of my favourites in Hanoi. There were lots of options, and everything was fresh and full of flavour. The bún riêu was so refreshing in the hot weather. I also recommend the black sesame drink.

We had the steamed bowl, the brochette and the pho ; everything was sooo good and tasty ! We drank cashew-sesame hot milk and ginger-apricot infusion, they were very nice. The restaurant is chill and you're sitting under the sky. The waitress was very nice and spoke english, she advised us some dish.

I go there at least twice a week, my favorite is the Bún riêu with a glass of black sesame milk. I like the community vibe; pick up your food, bring back your dishes and pay for what you ate. The family owning this quaint little place is very friendly and can help you in English if need be.

A super local spot where you get a soup with a few different options of noodles, mock meats, and herbs.

No milk or eggs in any of the dishes.
The owner speaks some English so it's not too difficult to get your food even if it's a very local spot.
You sit on small stools and are surrounded by locals. It's a cool experience, a delicious meal, and it's very affordable.

This place was located right next to our hotel, so we gave it a try. As others have already said, it's a bit chaotic here, especially when there are a lot of guests. Nevertheless, the staff is very dedicated and friendly. However, hardly anyone speaks English here. We had the hot pot and it was a really good meal!

Chay via hè is a mix between a restaurant and street food. You choose your dish, pho, hotpot or spring rolls, and you get it put together right in front of you. It is quite chaotic and very popular with a mix of locals and tourists.

I'd say go for the experience alone, but the food is also very good.
