vegan corner

Ended up here on a Tuesday night when there weren’t many other vegan options open nearby. Was surprised to find a whole “vegan corner” on their menu with not just 2 but 10 vegan curries plus a selection of vegan entrees, breads, and sides. It’s a shame they don’t seem to list vegan options on their online menu or the delivery apps.

I tried the vegan chilli chop made with tender mock chicken chunks in a sweet and sour chilli sauce with capsicum and onion. It was served on one of those “sizzling” plates and the sauce had caramelised a little. Had quite a bit of chilli kick to it too. Also shared the baingan bhartha and aloo saag - classic dishes both done well.

The restaurant is clean, casual, and nicely decorated with bright fluoro lighting so not a date destination but perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends or family. Service was friendly and it’s just nice to order clearly marked vegan options with confidence.

Pros: good vegan selection , affordable , friendly staff
