Enchiladas! - Edit
Ate here with a friend last week and was so pleasantly surprised to see they offered a vegan enchilada option! They were so good. I will definitely be back to try vegan-izing some of their tacos in the future. My boyfriend isn’t vegan and really liked his vegetarian tacos. Really like the decor and vibe of the restaurant as well, it’s more casual and there is a self checkout kiosk where you place your order.

Incredibly unique and flavorful - Edit
I was extremely impressed with the selection here. Everything is vegetarian but almost all can be made vegan. You can add Daiya cheese to these items or forgo the cheese completely. I chose to avoid Daiya as I’m not a fan and everything was amazing! Tasted so fresh and flavorful.

I would highly recommend. We each had 3 tacos and shared a carrot salad for around $30. Fresh corn taco was sweet and tasty. Loved the grilled eggplant and mushroom ones, too. Everything easily made vegan. A/c was delightfully cool and bathrooms were very clean. Restaurant uses reusable or compostible materials.

The cashier was friendly and helpful to point out that I could change the menu items to vegan versions. The food was ready within minutes and it was filled with flavor.

Veg tacos in downtown DC - Edit
This place is wonderful and fresh, modern and delicious. The space is open and beautiful. The menu is entirely vegetarian. The food is based on tacos - so, why not go here?
Read moreThere are about half a dozen choices each day, and usually all but one of them can be veganized. The menu even says so. There are mushroom tacos, and collard greens, and asparagus and rainbow carrots. There are also sides like rice and salad and beans. There are a couple cookies for dessert. Many choices of beverages like teas, wines, beers, and other herbal drinks.
The tacos are homemade tortilla-based with so many fresh veggies inside. It's so good!
It seems a little pricy for tacos, but it's so good! Support this place so it stays open. Really great space to sit and have a meal.
