Excellent vegan selection - Edit
There was an excellent selection of vegan options. Really large portion sizes, so was reasonably priced. Gave us complimentary extra battered vegetables alongside our vegan ‘fish’.

Excellent food and lovely service - Edit
I was really impressed with Catch22. I knew the food was going to be good as soon as I went to order because the man serving me was really lovely and seemed to be really passionate about his business and providing me with a great service.

We went for the battered vish, vegan pea fritters, battered mushrooms and a large chips, with a selection of the vegan extras as well. The portion of chips was absolutely huge (big even for 2 people) and they were just so good – proper, fresh, crispy, chip shop chips. The battered vish had a really nice texture and a lovely crispy batter (my only slight criticism of it would be that it could have had a bit more flavour, but I still enjoyed it). The vegan pea fritters were balls of mushy peas in crispy batter and they were also really tasty. The battered mushrooms were also really delicious and I’d definitely recommend those too. The mushy peas and curry sauce were also tasty, and came in large pots.
The food was all really tasty and good value, I’d definitely recommend a visit!
Pros: Tasty vegan options, Lovely service , Generous portions/great value

Definitely worth a try! - Edit
This was my first time trying banana blossom "fish" and chips. I wasn't disappointed! It has a really nice lemon and seaweed flavour. The food is really fresh, you can see them making it in front of you. The shop itself is small so don't expect to sit in.

Lovely - Edit
Really impressed with the 'vish' (battered banana blossom) - my first time trying it so I've nothing to compare it to, but it was lovely. Served with chips and mushy peas. Very filling and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that we weren't able to sit inside on our visit and it was quite cold on the tables outside.
