Good Italian food

Within their menu they offer several vegan options that are clearly marked and change over season. Classics such as Bruschetta are always on the menu. I tried the Bruschetta, which was good but a bit pricey for what you get. During Summer I had a delicious rice bowl and I‘ve also tried one of their soups from the Winter menu. Great to have a restaurant offering quite a few vegan options at the airport. Staff were always friendly. Only downside for me was that I couldn‘t spot any vegan cake/cookie. The baked goods look delicious, but from checking the ingredients none of them seemed to be vegan. I‘d also love a vegan panini because everyone raves about their paninis and it‘s easy to make a vegan one (as long as the bread they use doesn‘t contain any animal derived products).

Delicious!

So happy to find this at Heathrow terminal 5, lovely Italian place with freshly made pasta. We ordered 2 large vegan pasta dishes and started with the homemade focaccia which was heavenly.

The waiter was really helpful and the food arrived quickly.

If you're heading here keep in mind Carluccio's is situated before security and passport control, so leave yourselves plenty of time if going for lunch or dinner before a flight, or head there after a flight like we did :)
