Vegan maple chicken?! - Edit
Poutine, but vegan! Vegan cheese options, vegetarian and vegan toppings available. They’ve also found a way of making vegan maple flavoured ‘chicken’ which is great.

Vegan poutine - Edit
I come here fairly often and I only ever get a regular poutine but with vegan cheese and gravy. I say to the server, "can I have a regular poutine but with vegan cheese and gravy please?" and, while the vegan cheese they use is like shredded cheese rather than resembling cheese curds, which is a shame, it does taste very good. It's basically a vegan cheesy chips with gravy and it really hits the spot after a few pints. Costs £4.50 for that which isn't bad at all for a city centre. They also do tinned drinks and non-dairy ice cream.

Quick vegan comfort food - Edit
If you've never tried poutine give Caribou a go! Friendly staff, quick service and several vegan options. The vegan original poutine is chips, cheese and gravy and is filling and comforting. Great as a quick lunch whilst shopping or an easy bite to eat when heading to one of the local bars.

Read moreSince it was the first time, we tried the original poutine (just vegan gravy, cheese and fries). Bit of an unusual taste but I liked it! Very filling. Would like to go again to try the other flavours.
Takeout boxes are cardboard and forks are wooden not plastic.
Nice, central location.

Delicious vegan fast food - Edit
Having lived in Canada for a year I was so excited to eat poutine again, and this place has the nicest vegan poutine I’ve ever had. So far have had the tex mex and shroom poutines which were both so filing and tasty. I can’t wait to try the linda McCartney special for veganuary. A must if you are in Liverpool!
