Hotel breakfast - Edit
Stayed at Hope street hotel for work and this was the breakfast restaurant. Was pleasantly surprised by the number of vegan options. Could have a full English breakfast, pastries, waffles, yoghurt (besides predictable vegan options). Choices of alternative milks. Recommend for an indulgent breakfast.

Tasty pizza! - Edit
They have a whole separate vegan menu with loads of options. The staff were also very considerate with great service - others at the table ordered polenta chips which came with parmesan topping, and they brought one of the chips with parmesan on the side so they were vegan friendly! The pizza is very tasty, and multiple vegan desserts!

Where there’s Hope, there’s Hope! - Edit
1931 is a great restaurant tucked inside the Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool. The hotel itself is a former neoGeorgian piece of history, annexed to the carriage store and blind school. Front of house staff are most personable, from the hotel receptionists to the delightful Giuseppe in 1931 who went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and the food was indeed a most pleasant surprise. We had breakfast in the 1931 and this was one of our top 3 vegan breakfasts. Ever! Not just eating the vegan cooked breakfast with vegan black pudding, but we also pushed the boat out further and greedily feasted on vegan pancakes. What a fabulous start to the day! If you are lucky enough to be able to visit this hotel, be it for breakfast, a short stay, spa treatments or an evening sampling cocktails, do it. Simply do it!
