Gorgeous bakery and cafe! - Edit
So many wonderful options to choose from sweet and savoury! Lots of gluten free options as well. I got a spinach roll, frittata and a blueberry lemon donut 🍩
Read moreAll of them were great! The frittata was the best, filled with potatoes, tofu and a cute tomato on top. They heated it up too 🔥 The spinach roll was good too it had like a tofu ricotta as well. The donut was very lemony 🍋 and didn’t disappoint.
I also got what they call an espresso macchiato. Not the best espresso I’ve had but it was alright, probs would get a cappuccino next time.
Lots of seating and large tables. Wifi if you want to chill there.
Great place to visit in Calgary!

Read moreFür veganen Genuss ist dies ein Traumort. Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs mehrfach dort und haben viel Verschiedenes probiert. Ausnahmslos alles können wir empfehlen. Vegan und lecker zu backen geht eben doch. Hier findet man den Beweis dafür. Ich liebe diesen Ort. Noch dazu gibt es sehr leckeren Kaffee und wunderbaren Tee. Die Einrichtung ist für kanadische Verhältnisse auch sehr schön in weiß gehalten. Wenn es doch nur mehr solcher wunderbarer Orte geben würde. Leider wohnen wir in Deutschland, so dass ich vermutlich nie wieder von dort etwas vernaschen kann. Sehr sehr schade. Weiter so, wie bisher, liebes, verehrtes CanelaTeam.

Friendly and down to earth staff. Great options. I had the tropical cupcake and haam and chez croissant....omg yes! Everything was full of flavour and worth every indulgent nibble. Can't wait to go back.

We ordered an assorted box of cupcakes, a spinach ricotta roll and a sausage roll. Taste was 10/10 for everything - but ESPECIALLY the cupcakes. Omg! They were probably the most moist and soft cupcakes I’ve ever had.

The Best Cinnamon Rolls - Edit
I've loved everything I've tried from this little bakery. I really recommend the chai cinnamon roll, pizza bun, and the spinach ricotta roll (my non-vegan husband's favourite!). They also source their ingredients from other local vendors and offer new items seasonally. Their prices are really reasonable as well! My only con is that the allergens are not listed on their website for online ordering. They do use various nuts in some of their products, so make sure you ask in store if you do have allergies!

Incredible Buns! - Edit
I was given a box of Canela cinnamon buns, a mix of peach- and pecan-topped varieties. These were hands-down the best vegan cinnamon buns I've had! No hard bits, just the right amount of toppings, and sweet without being sickly. I can't comment on anything else, as I haven't actually set foot in the bakery.

A lovely all vegan bake house with chocolate croissants, almond croissants, pretzel buns, pizza buns, fruit and savoury turn over pastries, sweet loafs, cinnamon buns, cookies and more. Great espresso based drinks with options of almond, oat or soy milk. Lovely kind staff. There is no indoor seating but there are a couple of chairs on the porch.
