Not vegan friendly at all - Edit
The server had no idea what vegan meant. I asked for a dish without sour cream and the kitchen complied but then they added cheese instead. Rice isn’t vegan according to other reviews, and the beans probably aren’t vegan either (we didn’t get a clear answer from the server).

Mixed, some food very tasty, others not so much, friendly staff, unusual touches - Edit
When we first arrived, the person who brought us chips, salsa, and beans with cheese in it as we sat down spoke no English as far as I could tell. I tried to tell her that we were vegan and could not use the beans with cheese. Eventually someone took that away and brought over beans with meat in it.
Read moreI did find someone who spoke English, and she immediately sent over a wonderful waitress who spoke English, was very helpful and attentive. I needed to ask about ingredients, both to ascertain which food items were vegan and to ask about whether food contained an ingredient I am allergic to. She also removed the beans with meat in it and brought plain beans over. Those beans were very tasty. I had never before seen beans served free alongside salsa.
The rice contained chicken fat, so we could not get that, but we were told that all of their beans, including the refried beans were vegan.
I ordered the fajitas skillet dish. I had to specifically ask them to exclude cheese, sour cream, and rice. The waitress allowed me to get guacamole to replace those. The dish doesn't normally come with guacamole. I don't know if the flour tortillas contained lard. I got the corn tortillas to be sure I would be safe.
I did not care for the fajitas themselves. It was on the sweet side and contained carrots, peas, corn and a little bit of red bell peppers. I had never before seen those ingredients in fajitas, and was surprised by them. Someone else might really have enjoyed them, but I am not a fan of peas, in general. Some are fine, but that was way too many for me.
The guacamole was vegan. It came with pico de gallo and cabbage Even without the fajitas filling, the black beans, guacamole, pico, cabbage and tortillas very very tasty and quite filling.
The waitress discounted the meal when she heard that I did not like the fajitas. I didn't think it was necessary, but she insisted. I couldn't have asked for a better waitress.

Cons: Bring beans with cheese or meat automatically, Some attendants don't speak or understand English, Rice is not vegan

When I walked in I asked the woman at the counter of the refried beans contained lard and she said yes they do.

Incredible Latin-inspired Cuisine - Edit
We stopped here for lunch during the week. As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor throughout the restaurant. Every where you turn there is something to admire, from the large candy skull paintings on the walls to the tastefully decorated tables and chairs.

She knew exactly what we could eat off the menu and was sure to relay our dietary restrictions to the kitchen. My husband and I decided to share the spinach enchiladas and the veggie fajita skillet. Everything was AMAZING! From the presentation to the flavor, we were so happy we decided to dine here and would certainly recommend it to fellow vegans😄everything is reasonably priced as well.
