Big offerings for a small town - Edit

About in the heart of the small desert town of Cottonwood sits this well appointed natural foods grocer that should pretty much meet your alternative cooking, supplement and emergency vitamin needs if you're staying at a nearby campground or passing through on your way to some Arizona sight seeing ventures. Spoke with the owner who was at first apprehensive about what I was taking all the pictures for and responded "I don't think we carry any Happy Cow" when I explained what I was doing, but after a bit more explaining she quickly understood and seemed much obliged😄 The other staff were also friendly and helpful. Loved that they carried a few sugar free (agave sweetened) ginger beer options (I kind of have a hankering for ginger beer but I've cut out refined sugars so...)

Tons of vitamin and supplement options.

Pros: copious offerings for the middle of nowhere., Lots of vitamins/supplements too, helpful staff

Part Whole Foods part coop - Edit

Small produce section but everything looked very fresh and ok prices for organics. Nice bulk section with good varieties of spices, dried beans and others. Conveniently located in Cottonwood away from the crowds. I would shop here intermittently if I lived in the area. I bought some unique varieties of beans and some delicious vegan, gf, refined sugar free cookies. Along with a few other items.

Great natural foods store - Edit

Mt. Hope is a great find in Cottonwood. It is much smaller than New Frontiers in Sedona and Prescott but I am still able to find many of my groceries there. The produce is organic and much of it is local. The produce prices are incredible - I am not sure how they do it. They do not have a fresh meat or deli section but they do have a huge bulk section (with good prices), a frozen section, a pet section and supplements. The staff is friendly and I am happy to shop there.
