Friendly vegetarian cafe with vegan options

Excellent cafe with very friendly staff, a decent menu with vegan options and delicious vegan cakes. We ate here three times last week while visiting Carmarthen and enjoyed it each time - the raw chocolate torte was our favourite, but each day we had an excellent meal. Nice atmosphere too.

Pros: excellent food with vegan options, friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Cons: no fresh juices

Lovely food

Cafe was outside due to being in the pandemic. Food was tasty, lots of vegan options, I had bubble and squeak with home made baked beans. We also shared a chocolate brownie and a sticky ginger cake. I had a hot spiced apple drink, all tasted delicious. I thought it was great that composting was provided for all of the single use containers (due to pandemic) and the owner took it all home to feed to her worms. Very helpful and friendly service.

A delight!

Always a warm welcome here, helpful advice about their extensive range of teas, you’d want for no others. Coffee’s good too! Good range of quality tea containers, teapots and the like.

Love it here!

Cute, cosy, with friendly staff that take the time to get to know customers. Staff are fully aware of allergens, intolerances and dietary needs.
Vegan and vegetarian food with plenty of gluten free options.
Locally sourced and ethical ingredients.
Occasionally have evening events with specials
My favourite place in Carmarthen to eat.

Best breakfast ever!

After a lovely brunch at The Warren a couple of days prior my partner and I were in two minds whether to return there for breakfast or try here instead. Lets just say I am so happy that we came here instead or I would have missed out on the best breakfast ever! I am predominately vegan and totally gf which makes finding a decent breakfast difficult (gf bread just doesn't cut it!). I was however very pleasantly surprised to hear that the vegan sausages were also gf, music to my ears. They were very tasty along with the homemade baked beans, mushrooms and the rather welcomed addition of kale. My partner had the breakfast burrito which he said was equally as tasty. A great cosy cafe with a wide range of vegan and gf choices.

Pros: Vegan and gf sausages, Great pirce, Cosy environment

Brilliant

Really nice place - the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and the vegan breakfast burritos were super tasty. Liked the whole ethos of the place - will definitely be calling in again the next time we're passing through Carmarthen!

Pros: Plenty

Lovely relaxed lunch

Ate here in a group of 6 which included two teens and all enjoyed it, including the non-vegetarians. We stayed quite a while at the louge area and the cafe had a relaxed feel, maybe as it wasn't too busy. Enjoyed vegan breakfast, burrito, soup, toast, and especially the vegan pancakes! We were even able to order of the morning/afternoon menu even though we were there at lunch, as it wasn't busy (the whole town was quiet).

Pros: Good choice, Relaxed, Flexible chef

Good food, I could be a regular of this place

Not that much experience with the place but I will be going again. The food was very tasty, trying my best to go plant-based and options like this makes it easy. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised much better than I expected a non-meat orientated place to be. I had the mushroom burger with its side salad and it was really delicious. Highly recommended.

There was an organic cola which most of our family had to drink as well, that was a refreshing change from the norm as well.

New all Veggie place in Carmarthen

This used to be an organic cafe, and in March 2014 went all veggie.

This is a great little eatery, the food is hearty, tasty and fresh. The service is lovely, but be patient because it takes them time to make the food, not fast food here.
Good varied menu with an all day veggie breakfast. Lots of vegan choices.
Really lovely place, will go again and again. Up a small alley way, not far from M&S

Pros: all veggie, good price, good service

Cosy, lounge cafe/restaurant

Very nice little cafe with comfortable sofas and really good tasting homemade food. There are lots of choices also for vegans. The menu is long. There are breakfast all day, all kinds of sandwiches, wraps ect. and lots of main courses, side dishes and salats. We had rice, sausages(which i think were homemade and very tasty) in gravy and salat plus some lentilsburgers with homemade bread. There are cakes even vegans(and not just raw cakes), milkshakes and more. The taste and quality of the food is a good deal above average. One thing to improve would be the milkshakes which were made on syrup and a bit sweet. Would prefer fresh fruits in them instead. Portions are a bit small but then there are of course room for a snack before or dessert after:)
The staff/owner were really nice and helpfull wich added to the friendly, comfortable atmosphere
Absolutly worth a visit.
