Super Mittagsmenü - Edit
Wir waren hier einmal mittags und einmal Abends. Das Mittagsmenü schmeckte sehr gut. Suppe, Brot und Hummus, sowie der Saft war Selbstbedienung.

Not vegan. - Edit
Everything was perfect, had a great lunch until we went back in the afternoon. A customer ordered a cappuccino and the waitress asked "would you like cow milk or soy milk?". The customer said "oh yes, cow please". I couldn't believe it. When I asked for an explanation they said that they make an exemption for people who want cows milk. The restaurant claims to be vegan on every social media, on the menu and on their banners. That's false and misleading. Not going back.

Good but not a fave - Edit
Visited around 2pm and was lucky to get the last portion of the menu del día before it ran out. The hummus with bread for starter was tasty, and hummus is naturally hard to come across in Bolivia so it was good to get my fix.
Read moreThe pumpkin soup wasn’t the tastiest and was cold, that’s on me for ordering late I suppose. The main was vegetable dal with rice which was quite good. Overall though it was probably the most expensive menu del día I’ve had in Bolivia (39bs) and I’m not sure the quality and quantity matched up to the price.
The place is a little squashy and has solid wood tables made from tree trunks, which look really cool but weren’t very comfy as I couldn’t tuck my legs under the table 🥲
Pros: food was overall quite good
Cons: uncomfy seating, not the best menu del día for the price, expensive

Amazing - Edit
Amazing menu of the day, including a help yourself soup, hummus and bread bar. We also got some banana bread and sandwiches for our hike the next day and everything was really tasty and fresh. Can't wait to go back.

Highly recommend - Good food and great service - Edit
Cafe Vida is a lovely little cafe close to the Witches Market, located behind the English pub. The set lunch menu is 38bs from noon to 4 pm, although this is flexible depending on when the food runs out.
Read moreWe ate here twice while in La Paz as the food is fresh and delicious. You help yourself to soup, bread, hummus, and juice, while the main meal is prepared and provided to you at the table. The menu changes depending on the produce they buy from the market.
The food is so good that we forgot to take pictures. Therefore, the pictures provided are of the meal set-up and offerings.
Pros: Food, Service, Value for money

Perfecto para un coffee break - Edit
La chica me ha dicho que toda la carta es vegana. Yo me he decantado por un latte de soja y una rebanada de banana bread y todo estaba buenísimo. Un local agradable.

Super tasty vegan lunch - Edit
Got the lunch menu for 35 bobs, which includes really nice hummus, bread, soup, juice and a main dish (for me was a lentil bolognese). Went the one day just to have a tea and something sweet and smelt the lunch so decided to go back the next day. Some of the best food I’ve had so far in Bolivia, so flavourful and fresh. I’ve not really had nice hummus anywhere in Latin America in my travels but this place the hummus was great. Also had a chocolate chip cookie which was nice too. All of their food and sweet treats are vegan I think. Maybe a little more expensive than some other lunch menus but worth it as it’s not so much more.

Good vegan lunch - Edit
For 35 bols per person, we enjoyed juice, soup, bread and hummus, and a main dish.
Read moreWe loved that the juice, soup, hummus, and bread was self-serving! Our main menu of the day was a chickpea curry with rice.
It was a solid lunch menu! I think if there was a little desert or if the main dish had more flare, then the whole lunch menu would be more elevated.
But all in all a solid vegan place!

Go to Vegan spot in La Paz - Edit
This is the kind of place I’m excited to eat at again! They offer a menu of the day which was delicious and so filling. For me it was bread and hummuses, soup, and soft tacos with soy meat and veggies. I also had a peanut butter shake which was delicious. I ate it before I could take a photo - so good.
Read moreI have to edit this review now I’ve eaten here twice more 😅 smoothie bowls are delicious! I had the lunch deal again and this time there was a kind of tomato stir fry for the main meal. I preferred the pumpkin soup today over the veggie soup but also preferred the soft tacos of the other day. The staff are friendly and there’s great WiFi too. Again I barely remembered to take photos, the food was good and I ate it quickly.
A quick note is that, if you order a coffee, you should specify that you want soy or coconut milk because I think they do have cow milk there too.

Pros: Cheap menu del día , Affordable , Cute cafe vibes

Good quality cheap healthy food - Edit
I had the vegan set lunch for 35 bolivianos. I started with some bread and two delicious types of hummus and a spicy salsa. The soup was very full of veggies, a tad bland but still nice. The juice was a freshly squeezed orange and ginger juice. Main was a lentil stew with a yummy cashew cream. I also had the carrot cake for 15 bolivianos which was very moist and yummy. Will definitely be going back again.

Tucked down a side street behind an “irish pub” this cute little cafe was a cool find. They have a daily lunch menu and a la carte menu with many drinks and a few cakes to offer. I had the lunch menu of soups and hummus with bread and a flax seed juice. I also tried their chocolate cake which was lovely
