One of my two favorite restaurants in Saint Petersburg - Edit
Perfect location and beautiful place. The name is written in Russian so it might be difficult to find it the first time. But it's definitely worth it! I ate there several times during my trip. Delicious food, I loved the matcha cake and the breakfasts. Friendly and helpful staff even if some of them don't speak English. I absolutely loved this place!

Healthy vegan place, but small portions - Edit
I guess I’d recommend this place to those who like eating small portions or trying multiple dishes at a time. The food tastes good, I’d recommend the spring rolls, Caesar salad, avocado salad, matcha cake and Asian bowl. Most dishes are rather healthy and balanced, the desserts are refined sugar and gluten free.

Ukrop was a nice place for lunch. Lovely interiour and a great location. Food was good, all vegan with lots of options. I had lasagne (which was good but nothing spectacular) and matcha cake. The cake I would definitely order again, it was very very good.

Not easy to find if you don’t speak Russian as the name is written in Russian on the door, but the place is really cute! Very friendly staff that were trying their best to communicate in English with me. The hot thick chocolate is delicious! Cheesecake pancakes were not that good, and tofu scramble was nice. Portions are not that big.

If I could have stayed here all weekend and eaten every dish, I would have. The menu is creative! I especially loved the soups! Desserts are a must. They have plenty of alternative milk options.

After weeks of limited options as I traveled the Trans-Mongolian and then picking restaurants with my tour group, I was so happy to find a great place through the app. The food was fantastic, fresh, and brought out quickly. The menu was fully in English with clear markings to ensure you knew of it contained dairy, added sugar, or was a raw food dish. The waitresses also spoke English very well.

I was so surprised to find a veggie cafe this good so close to the center of it all in St. Petersburg. Despite its location close to tourist-central, it's been quiet and calm inside both times I've eaten here. They have breakfasts (all day), desserts, salads, juices, main dishes (such as pastas), and other good stuff. My favorite things I've had are the forest pasta with mushrooms and the tofu scramble. They also have three other locations in the city. Options with dairy products are labelled, so a vegan can eat easily. They do have an English menu too.

In my opinion, inadequate value for the size of portion. The food is interestingly concieved, but rather ordinary to taste, thought I really liked their desserts. In general, a decent place to relax slowly with friends, they have nice interior, but the kitchen didn't seem outstanding to me.

Our dinner here was very nice. They were out of many dishes, but what we had was fine, including a mushroom risotto, a taco type and a spicy soup. The cakes were excellent. One of our seats was a swinging bench. There was also a single swing that could be played with. Service was fine.

Very cosy place with lots of vegan options. We started with the special toasts, a selection of whole wheat bread with three different spreads, including their “red fish” paste made with carrots, and their purple cabbage soup with beetroot raw bread
Read moreWe then had their garnished tofu steak which was delicious, topped with vegan cheese and arugula in a bed of cauliflower, celery root, and spinach purée.
As a nice ending, I tried the raw chocolate orange cake, which was absolutely scrumptious.
Service and staff were also friendly and careful.

Nice place to visit on a cold day in St. Petersburg. Ukrop brings a wide variation of vegetarian, vegan and raw vegan dishes at a more than descent level.

My boyfriend had the raw lasagna and was really disappointed by the small portion. Really tiny, more like a starter than a main. I had the pad Thai, it was ok, a bit salty and I think I liked it just because there aren’t that many options around and I’m happy enough with having food! Portion was small too.

Thankful for the varied vegan options but this place cannot compare in quality with the amazing omni places that are around which really makes vegan food look bland and unattractive to non vegans.
