Outstanding food after a Corbyn rally and we only had a take away! - Edit
Unfortunately fully booked at lunch time. What could that mean?! From walking in and being served by two ladies who served and who both displayed exemplary customer service skills. Although it was fully booked we were taken care of while we were waiting offered us a spare seat and offered us free water. Outstanding!
Read moreWe had different lunchtime meals I went for tofu rancheo whilst my partner went with mushroom bourgignon BOTH with their legendary 5, yeah 5!! salads. Why would you try to pick one when they already come with 5! My partner chose chocolate hazelnut brownie whilst I had Auntie Sandra, just like your mams, apple pie.
We went back to Leicester's free roaming deer to enjoy them! ALL of it was LUSH and outstandingly tasty the afters even coming with strawberries and raspberries.
The packaging and cutlery were even all recyclable.
Just go! Come to Leicester folks for your justified expansion.
Pros: Outstanding customer service, Delicious food , 5 fresh salads and your mam's apple pie!
Cons: None, Fully booked, None in Leicester

Beautiful. - Edit
Visiting Nottingham for the afternoon with my Mum who is 83. We had lunch at Crocus Cafe (lovely too, although completely different to Cafe Roya), then met some friends at Lakeside Arts looking at colourful sculpture by Rana Begum.
Read moreA walk around University Lake and then an evening meal at Cafe Roya.
This was a lovely day.
Cafe Roya is beautiful both the food and service. They have a few Persian options, however I went for (vegan option) of the Filo feta parcel which had lots of subtle flavours.
Wine and dessert was lovely too.
The perfect place for a family meal.
Pros: vegan options, Can park outside for one hour or after 6pm, lovely staff

We had to come to Cafe Roya having heard such good things about it- and were really impressed! The menu is wonderful (chef is vegan) and everything, including soft drinks have an “artisan” feel- very welcoming and nourishing. Thank you!

Fab little restaurant/cafe - Edit
We went to Cafe Roya a while a go (In October 2017 I fact) we went at lunch time during the week, so they had a table free. I ordered the sweet potato samba with a selection of salads and my partner ordered the stuffed peppers with selection of salads. We ensured that it was vegan. Service was great, food came very quickly and it was so delicious. We were really impressed with this little restaurant on the outskirts of Nottingham. Loved it. We’re definitely going to go back once it’s warmer.

Excellent. - Edit
Our first visit - tried to book at weekends a couple of times and found it fully booked, but we had another event nearby at 7:30 so went very early and were the only customers for a while. Very interesting menu and specials and we both thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food which came nicely timed for us to finish without having to hurry to get to our concert. Highly recommended

Very good vegan options - Edit
They have a limited menu and that is not a bad thing. Their lentil cottage pie with a salad selection is quite delicious. Now to the amazing part - their vegan bakewell - l best I've ever had, including before I was vegan. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. Definitely on my list of places to return to.

One of my favourite places in Notts - Edit
I simply love Cafe Roya. I have visited many a time and the food, quality and service really are second to none. The menu changes every month so plenty of variety and a good selection of Vegan choices. Even though the Tiramisu wasn't on this months menu, my friend called them as she absolutely loves it, and they made several portions especially for us! The customer service here is unbeatable.
Read moreThe ambience is wonderful. A place for any occasion, we've had several birthday meals, catch ups with friends and it's even great for a romantic meal. The staff are really friendly and make you feel so welcome. They can't do enough for you.
I shall continue to return again and again, next time hopefully to check out their new lunch menu.
Pros: Everything!
