The location is the best part - Edit
I think their coffee is fine, but they charge more for milk alternatives. I usually only get a splash of almond milk in my drip coffee, and I've been charged an extra dollar for that.
Read moreI've only had their vegan breakfast burrito, and to be honest I thought it was pretty flavorless. But, it is nice to sit by the river, and I've always had fantastic service.

Tasty vegan breakfast - Edit
I got the vegan French toast and an oat milk latte for dine-in. The French toast was crispy and caramelized on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside topped with sugary cooked bananas. The fresh blueberries and strawberries served on the side were a perfectly bright, tart complement to the sweetness of the toast. The oat milk latte was rich and foamy without being too sweet.

Limited GF breakfast options, but tasty - Edit
Had the burrito in a bowl, was good, nice place to sit outside, bit in the pricey side. But hard to tell these days with inflation.

Appreciate the vegan options - Edit
First, I really appreciate the vegan options, especially with holiday coffee flavors like pumpkin spice and oatnog, although the $1 up charge for non-dairy milk is a bit much. And I used to adore the brekky burrito. But the last few times I’ve had it or the quesadillas, they were SOOO greasy that they gave me bad stomaches. I’ll still stop by for coffee, but will probably have to pass on the savory food items.

Could be better - Edit
Ordered 2 vegan breakfast burritos and a vegan coffee cake, we took our order to go and quickly found out they had given us the non vegan option. We took it back and the server was apologetic and put in an order to correct the mistake. The vegan burrito option was extremely bland. It looked appetizing but it seemed like they hadn’t even used salt or pepper. The aioli was the only portion that had any flavor. The coffee cake was pretty good

Loved this spot! - Edit
A charming cafe right by the river. Great service, delicious food and drink. It was a tough choice between the French toast and the breakfast burrito. I went with the burrito and it was really tasty and filling. Also had the iced tea (black tea) and it was great too

House-made vegan Oatnog Latte was delish! - Edit
My daughter and I checked out Cafe Capello during the Reno Vegan Chef Challenge (January 2023) while she was home for the holiday break. Such a cute spot with great coffee and vegan options that are clearly marked. During the challenge, they made their own vegan oatnog for the special latte as well as a yummy house-made tofu mozzarella for the Caprese salad. The tofu Teriyaki Sandwich really blew me away. It was well marinated and I liked the pineapple slice as well which gave it a nice sweet and savory taste. It was January so it was cold and we sat inside, but they have a nice outdoor patio that looks like it would be a pleasant spot to have a cup of coffee when the weather warms up.

Stick to their coffee - Edit
I went a couple days ago with my family, I got the vegan breakfast burrito which was incredibly greasy and fairly bland. All i got was a hint of paprika, I had to drown it in hot sauce to taste anything. I thought the burrito was fairly well priced, however the 11 dollar avocado toast that my grandmother got was not worth it. Yes it was good, but it wasn't good enough to warrant the same price as my massive burrito. So just stick to the drinks!!! They have decent espresso based drinks and the baristas are kind.

Quiet place to start your day - Edit
I was passing thru Reno and found this on the app. I got the vegan French toast and it’s super yummy. The bread appears to be made from cinnamon rolls or something similarly thick and dense. It comes with generous amounts of fresh fruit. I also had an oat milk latte made with Oatly (my favorite oat milk). All of the pastries were marked vegan. They have a nice outdoor seating area which is perfect for a summer morning! One of the few coffee shops in Reno with this many vegan options - so hit them up.

Cute little shop - Edit
I thought this place had a great atmosphere! The scones were good. The burrito wrap is overall good, but had too much oil and not enough flavor. I went with someone who eats meat and they weren’t too impressed with their food. I’d like to go back and try other food on their menu! Prices were reasonable and staff were kind.

Amazing French Toast! - Edit
This is a great little cafe. I loved the vegan French toast. We also had a herbal tea and Carmel iced coffee, both were great. Barista was so nice and helpful! Let us know about the sugar free carmel sauce wich is dairy free.

French toast steals the show - Edit
Decently good vegan breakfast burrito. Vegan French toast was the show-stopper (carmelized tops to the bananas? You kidding me?) Omni eater enjoyed a open sandwich with salmon or something (didn’t bother paying attention, but she liked it)

Cool place - Edit
Baristas are super nice, menu is simple and not overwhelming with solid vegan options that are clearly labeled, most or all pastries/baked goods are vegan (and labeled if not) the prices are super reasonable too. The staff is small so there's not a lot of covid sanitation, but you could take your food/drinks to go if that's a concern. Nice outside seating area

Cute little breakfast spot - Edit
This place isn't completely vegan but offers a couple of options. The staff was also very knowledgeable and accommodating to a vegan diet (got out packaging to make sure stuff was vegan friendly and read the ingredient list off). Went here with my non vegan family and they enjoyed the non vegan options. So a place for people who are vegan and omni.

My local brekky go-to - Edit
Live within walking distance so the vegan brekky burrito and Mexican mocha with oat milk is my go-to in the a.m. The vegan French toast was even a hit with a picky non-vegan 8 yo that was with us. Love dining out on the patio and even bought one of their adorable T’s.
