Portions though - Edit
Have had the Gauc Burger + Mac n Cheese and a pop up dessert. The burger was tasty although quite small. I had a large portion of Mac n cheese which was alright. Chocolate muffin with a a vanilla icing and a pop up coconut macha ice cream were a dessert. The muffin was quite nice, I couldn't taste a baking powder which is always a plus. Pop up ice cream so so.

Second location I’ve tried - Edit
This is the second By Chloe location I’ve tried. The food was just as good (even the meat eaters in our group were impressed), but some of the allergens were mislabeled. I wouldn’t have known, except that I had recently been to the London Bridge location. I’m allergic to almonds and they had a couple items listed as having almonds that actually didn’t.

We went there for dinner before a show. Had a burger which cost 9GBP but was very small. Fries were extra at 4GBP and were basically cheap McDonald's fries. I had the Mac&Cheese - they had absolutely no flavor! The sauce had a nice, creamy consistency but tasted of nothing. Not cheesy at all. The only flavorful bit was the shitake bacon, but there was not much of it on the pasta. Glad I only got the small version.

He said the burger includes a drink, we ordered a drink and then saw they charged us for it - apparently only soft drinks from their machine are included but he did not say that. Then they gave us the wrong kind of cookie which we only noticed after it had been sitting on our table for 30 min. So I took it back to the counter and he simply put it back into their display, which I don't think should be happening with food that has been sitting on a guest's table...? The decor is cute, especially the hanging chairs. But the food is only mediocre, considering the price.

I had been to a By Chloe in New York and it was great so I came here for my first meal in England. I ordered the fish and chips and was not disappointed at all. The food was great. I came back the next day and bought a BLT sandwich to take on a day tour for today because tour companies are always horrible at providing vegan options. I ended up eating the sandwich because the tour didn’t provide a vegan option and it was an amazing sandwich. Would highly recommend coming here and I will probably eat here again before I leave London.

I’ve been here a few times. I really like the variety of ‘junk’ options available. My only qualm is it can sometimes be super busy and difficult to get a table! But it’s worth it for a quick lunch or dinner when rushing round Covent Garden.

Not the best I had ...I have ordered a classic burger and air fried fries...the burger was bitter, the fries tasted like unchanged oil; not sure if the other options taste better but these 2 were a big disappointment...oh, and there were flies around the sauces dispensers ( definitely not a good thing)...

The food at By Chloe is always yummy and such a large vegan menu with such variety is a welcome change for me. However, I can’t be the only person who finds this place a little too...casual? Maybe it’s the American diner vibes that I just can’t get on board with but I really don’t enjoy being served food on a tray as if I’m in a canteen - especially for the prices at BC.
Read moreAnyway, my recommendation is always the delicious mac & cheese that I inhale every time and to definitely check out the sweet treats counter. In terms of tasty cakes of different varieties I’m not sure if BC can be beaten.

I'd like to write something nice about this place, so here it is: nice interior and ketchup dispensers. Regarding food, it's just not good enough, especially for London standards - you can find vegan food that's way better and way cheaper just around the corner. Wouldn't come back.

I was mostly curious to compare this By Chloe to the ones I have been to in the US... I found that the menu was almost exactly the same but this By Chloe has an additional London offerings menu which were things like vegan fish n chips, mince pie, etc. I had a smoothie which was significantly less sweet than the smoothies in the US By Chloes. A staff member said she noticed when visiting the US that the cupcakes there were less sugary, too. I had a meatball sammy and my hubby got the veggie burger. He was unimpressed and said it was really generic, but I really liked my meatball sammy. It is really expensive, just like the US stores, but it was cool to experience once. Just once, though.

We had high expectations on this place but the visit was disappointing.. Stressed and a bit impolite staff, expensive and all the food was served in paper plates and cups which gives it a cheap impression even tho the menu is expensive.

Had heard good things so partner and I went. Had burgers etc - was mega expensive for the portions you get plus if I remember correctly we had to buy our fries separately - a bit no from me. We left feeling hungry and went straight to the Itsu around the corner for a second meal. Would not go back

It serves it purpose, but I wouldn't necessary recommend it. I went with a friend late in the evening and it was okay, we were starved and thankful that our orders were processed quickly, the food was good, but the place was really crowded, thus the staff was understandably a bit unfriendly. Also the portions were little, especially considering the price. The worst was the sheer amount of trash generated through our meal - not really aligned with the sustainable lifestyle of the customers.

I passed this Russell Street location after attending a show at Fortune Theatre on the same street. I’m not sure I want to support this chain, which is being sued by chef/founder Chloe Coscarelli. However, I went once.
Read moreThis is a bright space, and the menu is intriguing. There are bottled drinks, sandwiches and salads ready to take away. I ordered the Pesto Meatball sub (£9.60), made with tasty meatballs and sautéed peppers. I took away a Kale Caesar salad - unfortunately in a plastic bowl and plastic carry bag - and a big cinnamon espresso chocolate chip cookie (£2.40). Only one bottled beer is available, Meantime lager.

This place is brillaint. You have to order the mac and cheese, its the best mac and cheese I've ever had! Cakes and cookies sold as well. I ordered a drink and they didnt have it in stock so they replaced the drink for me and gave me a free cookies! :)
