The staff were super lovely so I feel bad saying this, but the food was quite average. It just tasted and looked like something I can (and have) made at home. They had an extensive menu that sounded amazing in theory but just didn't quite hit.

I feel as though by changing some of the ingredients like the meat substitutes and melting the cheese it would make a big different

It was lovely to have a fully vegan place open in Dunedin at night. The first night I had the ocean burger, strawberry shake and a chocolate sundae. The burger was generous in size and I enjoyed it. Flavour was great. The shake was thick and the ice cream in the sundae was perfect.

I ordered this on uber for my birthday and it was sooooo tasty! Even got free wontons for spending over $35. It's got a fantastic range, if I could give it 10 stars I would.

Read moreTried the Fungi burger. Sure the bun is a fluffy white, but the rest of the burger is overflowing with mushrooms and vegetables in a delicious sauce.
The Eden Curry is a tasty Japanese curry with rice and a succulent crumbed (vegan) chicken slab.

Great chick’n burgers - Edit
I came here on a few separate occasions, getting the chick’n burgers a couple times, the cookies and cream sundae, the vegetable fried rice, chook bites (which I found were seitan), and the hot pot off the Asian menu. There‘s lots of mock meat options in both the regular and Asian menu, and the prices are fair! The best thing I got here had to have been the chick’n burger with a little pineapple ring.

This place is awesome. Fully vegan places are pretty slim pickings in NZ (try ‘let them eat vegan’ in the city centre) so this was a real treat. Big Boi burger and chips was immense, jalapeño poppers were insane - huge menu, lovely staff!

Read moreThe burgers are super tasty and the gluten-free dishes are prepared separately according to the owner and we had no problems afterwards.
There are creative combinations that go beyond the standard burger. Highly recommended!

We had the Fungi burger and the ocean (fish) burger. The fungi was super tasty and juicy, would be nice to have fewer larger mushrooms. The ocean burger was very different, but very nice. Super friendly service.

Service was lovely, very friendly. Shake was good but not great. Fries were standard. Loaded fries were much better, nice flavour, nice heat. Burgers were sadly inedible. Buns okay but needed a little more toasting. Flavors were good but the vegan pattie was a lump of rubber and hard to chew, gave up. Rest of burger was very simple slaw which might have been okay with enough sauce or dressing but instead was dry. Might just have been an off night. Will try their Asian vegan offerings next time.

After reading all the good reviews, I came here with big expectations. The menu is all vegan. There are numerous options. The burger was good, it had too much salad on it and missed a bit sauce.

Really nice staff! Would alone give 5 stars for that but the food was incredible too. We went with the cheeseburger and fries best in whole Dunedin and got the milchshake which was absolutely amazing as well!

I love this place so much. It looks like a chain but it isn't, and the owners are so lovely and friendly. Going there adds joy to my day. And the food is delicious! I'm an omnivore, but I'd choose their burgers over non-vegan burgers any day. I especially like the cheeseburger, but their (fake) chicken burgers are also delicious. The fries and the jalapeno poppers are also recommended. They also have student specials, and are cheaper than most other burger places.

These burgers are real good. They come with great sauces and the “chicken” patty is fantastic. The bun and the rest of the ingredients are a little plain. The “chicken” bites are a good deal.
