Goodbye - Edit
Sad to see this one temporarily closed, it’s been a variation of a veggie cafe for a long time and I’ve visited previously for soup or a salad mid-peddle on my bike. Anyways a pleasure.

Lovely Vegan Options - Edit
We were lucky to grab a table at Bumbles Rest as its only small and very popular. We ordered two teas with oat milk, a coronation chickpea toastie and roast cauliflower soup with vegan Catherdral City cheese on top. The food was delicious and good sized portions and perfect on a cold February day. Would definitely go back and try other vegan options.

A beautiful peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with great customer service. You instantly feel on holiday and forget all your cares the moment you step through the door. The coffee is smooth and delicious, and the vegan cookies are mouthwatering.

Bumbles - Edit
We had been walking over 1h away and drove especially for some cakes to this place. We were newly engaged and met on bumble so it seemed destiny we should try. When we arrived they had shut early. Staff still there. Refused to do even a takeaway. Cannot comment on the food but I think we just were unlucky with the service.

Not great variety but sausage rolls good. - Edit
Only had soup and sausage rolls available to vegans. The space is small so they are limited but i thought they may do sandwiches or similar. Sausage rolls were tasty though.

Hidden gem! - Edit
Bumbles' Rest was a really lovely cafe! The staff were so friendly and helpful, with some excellent food. It is a dog friendly cafe and the waiter gave our soggy dog a towel, which was a lovely touch. The soup was tasty and the vegan sausage rolls were fantastic, with changing contents across the week- we were lucky to have the delicious pizza flavour.
Read moreThe hot chocolate- with vegan cream and marshmallows- was amazing and warmed us up on a rainy day. There isn't much inside seating but it is worth visiting!

Amazing cafe! - Edit
The Snickers hot chocolate was amazing! Want to go back to try their other hot chocolates! We went quite late for lunch and they were starting to sell out of quite a few of there options - just a heads up if there was something in particular you were after. I got the broccoli, cauliflower and mustard soup with bread and it was amazing! Highly recommend.

Thank you very much for the beautiful review Charlie! I switch my soup flavours up on a daily to weekly basis, but they are ALWAYS vegan. So, maybe something new for you to try next time. Until then, have a buzzin' one.

Lovely little place! - Edit
We dived in here to get out of the lashing rain, and ended up staying for food when we realised it was all veg/vegan. The guy running it was really friendly and laid back, and served us some delicious food he'd made himself - the vegan sausage rolls (2 flavours!) and some lovely spicy chickpea and spinach soup, accompanied by home made bread. There's a wide selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates with a variety of milks, and yummy cakes (can strongly recommend the coconut and lemon sandwich sponge). We will definitely drop in again next time we're in the area, it's a little gem!

Amazing find - Edit
on our visit to Ambleside in Cumbria we came across this wonderful cafe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it had a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the vegetable chilli which came with vegan cheese, excellent. My husband had their Ambleside Rarebit which came with tomato chutney and salad, again an excellent dish. Also their selection of cakes, which they had a good choice of vegan banana and pecan cake, peanut butter and jelly cupcakes, plus many other choices.
