Inspirational Hidden Gem, Great All-round - Edit
On a side of town where dedicated vegan venues are few and far between, we were willing to travel down a side alley to find this gem, and I’m so very pleased that we did. Not only was their story and mission so genuine, impressive, and amazing, but so was their 100% plant-based homemade food! Outstanding service and conversation. Friendly team members and delicious breakfast. I was so full from all that we ordered, but I would have missed out on the best thing if I’d passed up on the cheesecake. Worth a full belly, and if I’m ever in Bangkok again, I will make a special trip to come back. Thank you!

Update: I returned 2 more times, both times I had the home made burger which was amazing. Came with I think cashew cheese style sauce. Was so good. I had a headache one of the times I went in, they recommended a fresh juice and my headache was gone very soon.
Read moreI had all day breakfast which was nice and Mexican tortillas which I believe were home made. There are lots of other things I want to try so I will return. Staff were very friendly and the place is nicely decorated

I had dinner there and I loved everything. I had the burger for 220 baht, wich is actually the same price as a processed vegetarian burger at Burger King in Thailand but freshly made and with attention and love for good food😄And the vegan cheesecake was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this vegan place!

I paid around 400 baht for my meal and drink, so not a place for the budget traveller. I ordered a cashew nut cream mushroom pasta, which I found tasty and filling, but my partner didn't enjoy his burger that much.

One of Bangkok’s best - Edit
We came to this cafe a few times because we loved the cosy, casual atmosphere (with Ghibli music!) and the amazing vegan food. As the cafe is loosely modelled on an American diner, it was nice to be able to have some slightly different dishes whilst in Thailand - our favourites included the mango pancakes and the club sandwich. The cafe is run by a family who are all very friendly, and their cats (who walk around freely) are so cute! Whilst the prices are on the higher side for Bangkok, the food was still affordable by Western standards and absolutely worth it 😊

Love.... After a long overnight bus from Chiang Mai and a couple hours of searching for a place that's open on a holiday we found it here. Great food and even better conversation with the owner who has ran across the entire United States in 80 days as a Vegan. We had the breakfast plate and the Japanese curry, both very tasty. We will be back.

Bonita Cafe & Social Club is a small little hangout / cafe. Their entire menu is completely vegan. The owners (I believe it’s a family - mother, father, son) are very friendly and accommodating. They close at 9:30pm and I got there just before they were closing around 9:10pm and they happily made my order. I got the Club sandwich (delicious and huge), the Hot Dog (great) and whole wheat pasta with red sauce. Split for two people. Everything tasted on point; would definitely return and eat here if visiting Bangkok again!!

A wonderful home from home in Bangkok - Edit
Spent a week working in BKK and Bonita Cafe and Social Club quickly became my evening retreat. Food is great, but it was the feeling of being part of something special that drew me back each night. Such an asset to the area. Would try to stay nearby just so I can go again. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

Went here for lunch after a very disappointing trip to the Grand Palace. This place is AMAZING! Everything was delicious, the staff are helpful, quick and super friendly. The “bacon” in the breakfast set is the most bacony fake bacon I’ve ever had. Within walking distance of many hotels.

Great environment that feels just like home! Friendly staff and has a relaxed ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious especially the club sandwich! It was a bit costly but very filling and satisfying. You can tell they don’t use oil and other chemical ingredients found normally in street food or other places in BKK. Worth the visit!

One of the best meals on the last night of my trip, me and my GF ate upstairs alone. I had the Sandwich, with a little Sirachi sauce added and my GF had the Tempeh burger, which I ate what she left too and was good. I hope I get to go back here one day.

We came for dinner and thought the breakfast menu looked good so we came back for that. All the food we've had has been great, the iced coffees are delicious, and the staff are lovely. Upstairs it's like being at your Nan's house, very cosy and a bit eclectic. Warm and welcoming vibe. Bit pricey for the area but they make all of their own vegan mayo etc, which isn't cheap to do, so can't complain (plus not actually expensive by western standards). Love it here, would defo recommend.

Mimi is the current resident cat and she is very cute. We had a club sandwich which was really yummy. Caesar was a much healthier version than we are used to. We got extra German potato - we recommend you do too! So good.

Also the only offical retail store for Vibram shoes in Thailand. (The couple are ultra runners) So if you need a new pair of Vibram Five Fingers while in Bangkok, hit them up.

The club sandwich is delicious; the pizza plate good (uses a ricotta style cheese). Pizza was ample for 1 person, but it may not appeal to everyone due to the cheese used. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
