Not the same anymore, not vegan - Edit
It used to be one of the best spots in Madrid and had amazing chocolate. Sadly the owner had to sell it during lockdown and new owners decided to keep the name and try to piggyback on its reputation, but it's not at all the same place.
Read moreGone are the exquisite chocolates and the vegan menu. Since this place belonged to a friend of mine this mockery feels specially egregious. It's not vegan friendly, it's not good, it's not the same place.

I modified the review to rate café Bombón 5 stars because I've been here several times after my first review and I must say the staff and owner have always been extra nice. Also worth mentionting their hot chocolate is definitely the best I've ever had. Ever.

Operation: Chocolate & Churro - Edit
So I've been on a mission to get vegan chocolate & churros since I've landed in Spain. In Barcelona, I got the vegan churro but no choco. Here in Madrid, got the choco but no churro ONLY because Bombon serves it only on Weekends. I'm determined to get the full Spanish experience of chocolate & churro. Lol But the establishment has a very cute ambiance. Felt like a French cafe considering I've never been to France. Lol The owner happened to be there today and spoke perfect American English (I assume she lived there before). She was helpful with EXCELLENT customer service with the menu and helped me decide on what to get. I got their traditional hot chocolate w/ coconut milk, chocolate macadamia cookie, and two scoops of their chocolate & passion fruit ice cream (pequeño). Overall 5 stars. I will be back and get my chocolate and churro. Lol

Toda la carta es Vegana. Puedes personalizar los batidos de chocolate eligiendo la leche, sabor, aroma, etc. Los helados y gofres están riquísimos también. Eso sí, llena mucho pero merece la pena. El trato de las cámareras es estupendo.

Cute chocolate caffè owned by a lovely girl. Hot chocolate is soooo tasty. You can pick your favourite milk, choose consistency and flavour. We also tried the waffle with hazelnut and pistacchio ice cream and wow! Bring your non-vegan friends in here and instantly convert them!

Cutest café ever with the loveliest owner 11/10 - Edit
IF you like hot chocolate, like proper thicc hot chocolate come here, you won't regret it. All the cocoas can be made vegan and there are so many flavours, the vegan croissants are great too. The owner is the sweetest woman, always up for a chat and advice, she helped me out when I ended up accidentally without a home and even let me stay past closing to use the wifi. I recommend this place 10000 times over if you like good coffee, hot chocolates and kindness.

Had vegan chocolate (coconut milk) and they had a variety of other nut milks to choose from. Also had vegan chocolate-banana bizcocho which was delicious. They had a bunch of other vegan pastries as well! Will be going back.
