Served non-vegan food, only found out after I ate a lot - Edit
When ordering, I explicitly specified and confirmed vegan three times while pointing to the vegan part of the menu and the waiter echoed vegan back to me. When serving, the server said vegan unprompted to confirm.
Read moreOnly after I ate a large portion did my friend decide to try some and said “yeah this is definitely real cheese.” We flagged them down and asked them to confirm, I heard some discussion with the kitchen, and then they took it away and tried to serve me a replacement which was actually vegan, despite me saying that I didn’t want any food at that point since my dairy allergy meant things weren’t going to go well for me.
Upon leaving with my friends, one of the servers decided decided they didn’t want to split the bill and tried to make one of us pay for everything at once by card, and then there was a large argument regarding them trying to bill me for the replacement I explicitly said not to make. Additionally, they added an additional beverage to the meal that no one had ordered (or been served), and it was a lot of back and forth about that. One waiter was polite and apologetic, but the other was very rude.
Avoid at all costs.
