I go every time I fly into KL - Edit

try the spicy mushrooms, they are amazing! I even took my meat eating boyfriend there and he said they were better than meat. The Lasi Lamak is also fantastic! I tried other stuff on their menu as well but those 2 items are the best!

Pros: great organic food, amazing spicy mushrooms nice staff

Cons: more exspensive than others but it's at the ai

Nice ! - Edit

Someone told me that it's all vegan now but I'm not sure it is true, nevertheless they have vegan food, they also sell some organic products.

They serve very good Malay food (and some other meals like burgers), portions are nice and for an eating place at an airport, the price is really correct.

Pros: Tasty, Cheap, Fast

Mixed experiences - Edit

We've eaten here a number of times, and this place is one of the best food options we've found in an airport... but we do want to leave an honest review. It's great that they have vegan options, and can veganize some of the vegetarian meals as well. The mushroom sandwich is lovely, but make sure you ask and double check for no butter on the bread. Some dishes may still include the pumpkin tofu which is divine! The meal options used to be better but the menu has recently changed (some of our favorite dishes aren't available anymore), and we feel like the quality has gone down. Our most recent experience... the rice dish was dripping in oil and the greens/vegetables in the soup was iceberg lettuce :( For the amount they charge, noodles, tofu and lettuce in soup is disappointing... a mix of vegetables would be a wonderful improvement. A lot of the menu is also fried, which isn't great if you don't want to sit on a plane for hours with an oil-filmed mouth. To end on a positive note, it's wonderful that they exist in an airport and at least offer vegan food... and they have brown rice and brown rice noodles!

Pros: Vegan options, Brown rice & brown rice noodles are available , Food is organic

Cons: Some dishes are oily , Pricey (although it is an airport)

Body Mind Spirit L2M-19 - Edit

I dined at this lovely organics place on my stop over from Australia to Malaysia, I was in transit so went out of arrivals and came across this gem. I had a beetroot and apple juice and a Rojak salad a traditional fruit and vegetable salad dish of South East Asia, has diced jicama, cucumber, pineapple, a fritter topped with a spicy sweet sauce. This restaurant had a grocery store selling organic beauty products, teas and coffee, different types of noodles like spinach, spirulina or wild brown rice 6.80 MKR . If your in transit it's located in the International Arrivals food hall area upstairs.

Pros: MBS has 43 outlets in Malaysia organic and vegan, quick service, very helpful and friendly staff

Disappointing - Edit

We had burgers there which were hardly acceptable: my girlfriend had the fish burger which was dripping with mayonnaise. Seriously - they must have put at least two to three large spoons full details of it on the bun! The charcoal bun itself was so soft, it was soggy. Otherwise good though, fresh lettuce and tomato, fake fish patty tasted really good time too.
So we gave the place a second chance. This time I had a soy milk laksa with noodles and my girlfriend the crunchy salad and we were both really disappointed! The laksa looked nothing like in the pictures, the vegetables in it were tasteless and the soup itself would have been nice if it hadn't been hidden under a thick layer of oil. Quite confusing since the menu explained that soy milk is used instead of coconut cream to make it healthier by decreasing fat.
Anyway, the crunchy salad consisted of mixed lettuce on bread cubes and was sprinkled with cashews. So far so good but instead of a dressing the people in the kitchen had put mayonnaise (again) and tomato sauce all over it. That's supposed to be a salad, not French fries, right?
Seriously, this food wasn't healthy at all and unfortunately the calories weren't even worth it.
I would recommend anyone to eat 50m away at yong tau foo. Just pick whatever vegetables you like, let the staff show you the vegan tofu options and choose the curry soup on top. Spicy, fresh, healthy, cheap and absolutely delicious.

So Goooooood! - Edit

This place is a gem and we ate all the foods! They have loads of different meals to choose from, from burgers to sandwiches, asian meals and side snacks and the food is of a really great quality! (They also have a shop attached and sell goodies that we're gonna grab for our next flight)

We ordered the roti canai, spicy tofu, pasta bake thing and a strawberry smoothie! We were one flight into our 32 hours of travel home, so it really was a welcome sight!

Just so people are aware - because I looked for thjs place last time I was here - while this in KLI2, it is out the front. As a result if you are having a layover in KLI2, you will have to go through immigration and customs to find it. When you come out of customs it's just the next level up, you can see it from the customs door. Also! It is not signed as Be Lohas, it's called BMS Organics!

Vegan Organic Airport Food?! - Edit

Wow! Delicious food in the airport, reasonably priced too. I had organic curry laksa, my daughter had mini hotdogs and my son sweet and sour chicken. It was all very high standard. The best option for vegans in KLIA2.

Agreed- Best Airport Food Ever! By Far! - Edit

Not only is Be Lohas an oasis in KLIA, its an oasis in airport cuisine. Not only is it veg, its organic, they use himalayan rock salt, and rice bran oil.
The do veg versions of Malaysia's classic dishes, and its an opportunity to try many things that might have been off limits during the rest of your travels. Everything I've had there has been great, although the Buddhist meals might be a little bland.
Its so good that when transferring through, I will even book an earlier flight in, just be sure I have enough time to eat there.
Where else is eating at the airport a highlight of your trip?
Just a note, its at KLIA2, so if you are flying in or out of KLIA, you will need to take the transfer train to get here.
I wish I could give them 7 cows!

Pros: Organic Veg Food at the airport!, Switched on abotu healthy salt and oil, Tasty veg versions of Malaysian classic

Cons: puts every other major airport in the wo

I love this place - Edit

Yes, by Malaysian standards this is a bit pricey. However I got a bms organics VIP card to get up to 20% off each time I come here. And I do, because I have never had a bad meal. I especially love the Laksa and the charcoal bun burger. Delicious

Pros: delicious food

Vegetarian with vegan options - Edit

You find the Be Lohas cafe outside of the checkin area, on the second floor of the "mall" area.

They do have a number of vegan options, both Western (e.g. Burger) and Asian food (e.g. Nasi Lemak) and organic products.

Food is nice, the preparation takes a few minutes, and the price is not exactly cheap (expect around 20 MYR for a main dish) but of course acceptable for an airport restaurant.

Pros: Many vegan options, Good taste & healthy

Cons: Price

Last good meal before flying out - Edit

Great place to have a last meal of vegetarian malaysian food just before flying back home. A lot to choose from on the menu, which is also in English and has pictures. Food quality is great, restaurant is easy to find. A bit more expensive than other restaurants in the city, but I guess it is normal MO at an airport. Still, found 3.5 MYR a bit over the top for a glass of lukewarm water.

Pros: Location

Cons: Expensive drinks

1st vegetarian cafe that I ever saw in any airport - Edit

I just found this place by accident arriving to KLIA2 from Perhentian islands (Kota Bharu).
I was very happy to find it, coz it's difficult to find veggie foods at airports, not to speak of veggie restaurants.
They have a health store and small menu, mostly dishes with organic foods, chinese type with soy, seaweeds and mushrooms. The ginger tea was yummy. They also have wifi and charging spots.

Pros: organic food, wifi, not a crowded place
