Fantastic lunch at KLIA2, our new favorite

We actually struggled to find this place and started in the food court where we saw a place to eat that looked good. We then proceeded to walk around the airport (both levels) looking for VegT@lk, then realized it was the place we originally saw!
**Directions** Simply head to Level 2 and go into the food court. There are illuminated signs for all the different cuisines on offer... just look for the Vegetarian station and that is Vegt@lk.
Everything is vegan and vegetarian and we ordered the curry pan me and nasi lamak rendang and both dishes were really good. Large portions, very tasty.
This is going to be our go-to place to eat whenever we travel though Kuala Lumpur airport.

Pros: Tastes was amazing, Lots of non meat options and choice., Staff were enthusiastic

Cons: Hard to find (for us), It's a food court, not a restaurant, You have to visit another station to buy drinks.

Finally found it!

For years I had airport staff tell me it doesn't exist, closed years ago, etc over the years. I found it almost by accident. It's in the MALL food court next to the airport. But it's not IN the airport.

Ok, sodium overdose 🫠

The food is just okay, nothing too fancy. I had the vegan fish combo. And my team had the chawmen mee. I think they are trying to kill me with sodium; it’s way too salty to my liking! I just died of sodium overdose an hour ago! 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Nothing special

Many things weren’t available so I got the only that was similar to the one that I wanted. I asked if it’s spicy or not and staff told me no and the soy chicken was very spicy. (there’s 2 small pieces of soy chicken and 2 pieces of potatoes in spicy sauce)
However staff is friendly enough
It’s hard to find if you’re new to the airport and located in a noisy food court
The food was ok, nothing special #Veganuary

Not bad overall.

I was on a transit stop in KL and had to clear immigration and bus it to T2 to try this place. It’s the only veg place in KLIA as far as I could see. Was it worth it? Well yes and no. Yes because it was the best option at the airport. No, because I was expecting better based on the reviews. I ordered the Nyonya fish with rice, and it was ok. Not as good as it looked. The rice was undercooked, hard and grainy. The flavour wasn’t really nice either. I also ordered the Wanton Mee, for take away, which was tasty. The guy serving didn’t speak much English and looked totally disinterested. But overall, it was good value and decent. I would go back. I hope BMS reopens. That was airside and really good! .

Pros: Tasty wanton meek, Great value.

Cons: Poor service in my experience , Nyonya fish flavour wasn’t great. , Undercooked rice.

Airport life saver

Located Terminal 2 at level 2 in the Food arcade near Arrivals. 2/3 of the dishes are vegan. I had the chicken with rice, 2 sorts of fake meat it was very good. Price is cheap. Behind there is a stall with fresh juices.

delicious char siew mee!

vegtalk is a vegetarian stall in the food court of KLIA. they have a good range of options that are mostly vegan (:
we had the char siew wonton mee (no wontons, just char siew) and a sweet & sour chicken rice. both came with a flavourful side of soup. portions were small but food was absolutely delicious!
this cost us RM30 in total - a bit pricey, but standard for airport food. would certainly have this again if i revisit KL ☺️

Pricey but great food

This is my go-to place for meals arriving and departing from KLIA2. At least half the menu is vegan (I always ask them which items contain no egg). They serve Malaysian cuisine in generous quantities and prices range from 14.50-15.50 RM for a meal. I highly recommend their curry pan mee and rendang.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious Malaysian food, Generous portions

A great surprise!

I was not expecting many options on my layover but saw this place and paid 14.50 for a nasi lemak rendang, for some reason thinking Australian dollars and thinking that was not bad for a meal… but it was in MHR, which is maybe $5 AUD! The food was food-court-great too.

Vegan paradise @ airport

How did we get so lucky. Malaysia has been a dream for vegan eats. This is located level 2 of terminal 2 (air Asia terminal).

We got the sweet and sour chicken rice and the cha siu chicken for 30RMB ($10 aus). Delicious. Same/similar to the chain in the pavilion shopping mall in KL!

Must try either on arrival on way back home. Ps - the soup is sooo good!

Pros: Cheap, Vegan , Simple and no fuss

Cons: Nothing

Best food in KLIA

Such a great option! Skip past all the fancy places and look for the Food Arcade sign. Then you’ll see vegetarian in glowing letters. Such a bonus if you’ve struggled to find options wherever you’re travelling from.

Pros: Cheap, for airport food, Range

All-vegetarian place

Glad this is here where I feel free to order anything off the menu! This seems to be a rare place that has veggie proteins. I was able to find it following previous review instructions.

They have decent options, including dumplings, noodles, faux meats. They don't seem to serve eggs. The service is fast and good.

In the morning they're open later than other places.

Best food @ the airport!

Had a short layover here and found this gem located near the domestic arrival area level 2. It might be a bit hard to find, so make sure to look for the 'food arcade' sign (you have to go through immigration first), and the store is right by it. I had an amazing 'fish' cake and also bought some food for my flight. It's a bit spicy, so be careful if you are about to have a long flight

Vegan food in ⚠️ARRIVAL HALL ⚠️

Vegan restaurant with noodles, fake meat and fake fish. Noodle soups and others. So nice to have a vegan option at the kuaa airport.
⚠️ Its in arrivals hall (level L2 in the “Food Arcade”), so you will need to come here before passport/liquid check

Pros: Tasty

Vegan options at the airport at good prices

Grateful that this place exists on my 16-hr layover!! Note that it is located in the arrivals hall which means you need to go through customs and security again if you are transiting (like me).

Good food and decent price

My busband and I had lunch there and we liked the food. We had Nasi Lemak Redang and the Mee noodles. Both was pretty tasty and way better than food at other airports. We paid for both around 6 euros.
