Fantastic lunch at KLIA2, our new favorite - Edit
We actually struggled to find this place and started in the food court where we saw a place to eat that looked good. We then proceeded to walk around the airport (both levels) looking for VegT@lk, then realized it was the place we originally saw!
Read more**Directions** Simply head to Level 2 and go into the food court. There are illuminated signs for all the different cuisines on offer... just look for the Vegetarian station and that is Vegt@lk.
Everything is vegan and vegetarian and we ordered the curry pan me and nasi lamak rendang and both dishes were really good. Large portions, very tasty.
This is going to be our go-to place to eat whenever we travel though Kuala Lumpur airport.
Pros: Tastes was amazing, Lots of non meat options and choice., Staff were enthusiastic
Cons: Hard to find (for us), It's a food court, not a restaurant, You have to visit another station to buy drinks.

Finally found it! - Edit
For years I had airport staff tell me it doesn't exist, closed years ago, etc over the years. I found it almost by accident. It's in the MALL food court next to the airport. But it's not IN the airport.

Ok, sodium overdose 🫠 - Edit
The food is just okay, nothing too fancy. I had the vegan fish combo. And my team had the chawmen mee. I think they are trying to kill me with sodium; it’s way too salty to my liking! I just died of sodium overdose an hour ago! 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Nothing special - Edit
Many things weren’t available so I got the only that was similar to the one that I wanted. I asked if it’s spicy or not and staff told me no and the soy chicken was very spicy. (there’s 2 small pieces of soy chicken and 2 pieces of potatoes in spicy sauce)

It’s hard to find if you’re new to the airport and located in a noisy food court

Not bad overall. - Edit
I was on a transit stop in KL and had to clear immigration and bus it to T2 to try this place. It’s the only veg place in KLIA as far as I could see. Was it worth it? Well yes and no. Yes because it was the best option at the airport. No, because I was expecting better based on the reviews. I ordered the Nyonya fish with rice, and it was ok. Not as good as it looked. The rice was undercooked, hard and grainy. The flavour wasn’t really nice either. I also ordered the Wanton Mee, for take away, which was tasty. The guy serving didn’t speak much English and looked totally disinterested. But overall, it was good value and decent. I would go back. I hope BMS reopens. That was airside and really good! .
Read morePros: Tasty wanton meek, Great value.
Cons: Poor service in my experience , Nyonya fish flavour wasn’t great. , Undercooked rice.

Located Terminal 2 at level 2 in the Food arcade near Arrivals. 2/3 of the dishes are vegan. I had the chicken with rice, 2 sorts of fake meat it was very good. Price is cheap. Behind there is a stall with fresh juices.

Pricey but great food - Edit
This is my go-to place for meals arriving and departing from KLIA2. At least half the menu is vegan (I always ask them which items contain no egg). They serve Malaysian cuisine in generous quantities and prices range from 14.50-15.50 RM for a meal. I highly recommend their curry pan mee and rendang.

A great surprise! - Edit
I was not expecting many options on my layover but saw this place and paid 14.50 for a nasi lemak rendang, for some reason thinking Australian dollars and thinking that was not bad for a meal… but it was in MHR, which is maybe $5 AUD! The food was food-court-great too.

Best food @ the airport! - Edit
Had a short layover here and found this gem located near the domestic arrival area level 2. It might be a bit hard to find, so make sure to look for the 'food arcade' sign (you have to go through immigration first), and the store is right by it. I had an amazing 'fish' cake and also bought some food for my flight. It's a bit spicy, so be careful if you are about to have a long flight
