Vegan On The Go - Edit
I recently visited Blossom De Jour, a casual, organic, vegan cafe on the Upper West Side. There is minimal seating, and it is quite small. I ordered a beet burger and a blue velvet smoothie. The beet burger was ok; it had a earthy, beet flavor. The smoothie on the other hand was creamy and delcious.

Great food, slightly overpriced - Edit
Healthy and fun options. Not mind blowing but it did the trick. As mentioned, expect to pay closer to $15 for a standard meal.

It's a bit hard to locate it underground, but worth the search. I tried the un-chicken wrap and it was very good.

Chain vegan place in underground food court - Edit
Blossom du Jour has a number of fine vegan (relatively fast food places throughout NYC; it is excellent chain. This one is located in an underground food court next to the Columbus Circle subway--look for the signs for the "Turnstyle Underground Market" to help find this place. You can find other vegan/vegetarian items in other venues in this food court (including a Pressed Juicery) but this Blossom Du Jour Express is the best place in this food court. You order the food at a counter, then find a bench in the food court; they give you some cheap plastic utensils if you need them. The other Blossom Du Jour places have more comfortable surroundings than the one in this food court, so if you want to experience Blossom Du Jour, go to another one if you can (again, they may be found throughout the NYC). But if you are in the area, this one will do

Definitely 5 stars. - Edit
I usually eat here once a week, especially for the unchicken avocado sandwich and the southern bowl, with cauliflower next to it. They are friendly, fast and delicious.

"They don't take cash" - isn't that a con? For me that's actually a big minus. Not sure why anyone would consider that a pro.

Vegan Fast Food - Edit
This outpost of the Blossom empire is in the hip, foodcourt in the Columbus Circle subway station. Great location to grab a quick meal or snack in a nabe with few vegan options. Menu includes basic bowls, build-your-own bowl, soups, cookies, etc.

Fine, but not great - Edit
This works for something quick, but not sure how much I would choose to come here. I had the quinoa burger and it was ok, the bread seemed stale. It didn’t taste bad, but nothing to write home about. I did really like the mac and cheese, that was good.

It's in an underground food court, at the entrance to the Columbus Circle subway. The unchicken avocado griller is one of the best examples of seitan-chicken I've had.

They keep taking the good things off the menu - Edit
I don’t know who is making decisions for Blossom’s but they used to be one of my favourite spots in NYC and now I won’t even go. First they scrap the little Italy sandwich and now they’ve scrapped all their milkshakes. The menu just keeps getting worse. Such a shame.

A little pricey and small portions - Edit
This Blossom du jour is an underground takeaway counter at Columbus Circle. It offers wraps, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. I took a wrap with avocado, it was good but the portion was quite small for the price I paid. It can be convenient if you are in the area (and want to eat something at Central Park for instance) but don't go there on purpose. I used to like the Blossom du jour restaurants but I was a little bit disappointed here.

Love this Food! - Edit
They have some really great vegan fast food here and a great breakfast menu. My favorites are the Benedict wrap (sauce is to die for) and the Midtown Melt. Yum! Unfortunately, this location doesn't have the Benedict Wrap because it has a limited menu. I hope they reconsider that because it looked like they had as much room here as some of the other locations. Note that this location is underground in a shopping/ food court within the subway station.
