my atm favourite NYC eat in / take away - Edit
blossom du jour offers delicious and wide range to choose from items on the menu, e.g. every burger and sandwich + sides were amazing. this particular place at subway station has seats in middle of different shops and cafes, otherwise take away, no restroom.
Pros: delicious, average price
Cons: no restroom

Great lunch option near the park - Edit
Blossom is my go-to for lunch when I don't have time to pack food. I work a few blocks north and contrary to a reviewer below, BDJ is one of the few vegan spots for savory food in the immediate area, outside maybe Whole Foods.
This location recently moved from it's Amsterdam Ave location, and unfortunately they limited the menu some. They did keep the Midtown Melt, which is pure deliciousness, and many of the salads and smoothies. They also have some desserts like cookies and brownies. Small spot, best for on the go.
Pros: Midtown Melt, Online ordering
Cons: Limited menu

Vegan On The Go - Edit
I recently visited Blossom De Jour, a casual, organic, vegan cafe on the Upper West Side. There is minimal seating, and it is quite small. I ordered a beet burger and a blue velvet smoothie. The beet burger was ok; it had a earthy, beet flavor. The smoothie on the other hand was creamy and delcious.

Mediocre - Edit
Ordered the Protein bowl - kale and guacamole were good, but the beans and the "chicken" were clearly not fresh. There are plenty of better vegan places close to Central Park.
