Yay - Edit
I got the un-chicken avocado griller. I was very pleased and impressed, especially by the focaccia bread! My expectations for vegan food in Manhattan are low, so this was a lovely surprise. The only downside is the price, but it’s standard for the area.

We love this place. Blossom du Jour(23rd St between 7th and 8th Ave), not to be confused with the fancier Blossom Restaurant (on 9th Ave btw 22nd and 21st). Its small with counter seating, but we are grateful for the dedicated vegan kitchen. The only heartbreaking thing is that they keep changing the menu and removing all our favorite items, like the Butterfinger Shake and the Seitan with peppers on the ciabatta roll. Now they are altering the menu again in the Spring to have stews. I really don't enjoy stews. even the word bothers me. The bowls are good, and he kale salad is delicious. They have a rewards program that you have to ask about but you can earn points and get money off your purchase after reaching a certain point.

Failed my expectations - Edit
Did I get to the right place?? The "Blossom Du Jour" I visited was very far from what I expected according to the other comments. My food was very greasy and lacking of flavour. Also the "I am not a boy" waiter was not friendly at all. I guess it was due to the late hour I came (about 30 min before closing), but still...

Good food! - Edit
It’s presented in disposable cups - so presentation could be a bit better - but the service was courteous and the food is very well made, tasty and nutritious. Best vegan macaroni and cheese I’ve had, and the tomato lentil soup was perfect. Recommended.

Tasty, healthy and convenient vegan grinds - perfect! - Edit
I enjoyed a bowl for a quick dinner. The veggies were perfectly cooked, and the Seitan with peppers and tahini Dressing were delicious! It’s rare to find vegan food that tastes yummy and is healthy too - nothing was fried or oily. The service was super helpful and friendly too.

Vegan fast food near the highline! - Edit
Amazing onion rings with chipotle aioli! The Mac and cheese was mediocre. Not much atmosphere, but it’s good for grab and go. I would definitely go back for those onion rings though. I had heard so much about Blossom so I expected it to be a little more special.

Good but a bit heavy - Edit
I have been here twice, they offer a good selection of bowls, wraps and burgers. I had a protein bowl with marinated kale, quinoa, black beans and un-chicken fillet which was good but a bit heavy. The other time I made my own bowl with more veggies, rice and black beans. Service is fast. The only issue is that the kitchen ventilation system does not work well, so the place is too smelly. It wouldn’t be a problem in itself, unless you come out with smelly clothes. So I would recommend you take the food out if you have elsewhere to eat it, otherwise you are going to smell like a deep fried onion ring.

Okay - Edit
Close to the Highline, which is nice. I got a rice bowl and some cauliflower bites and a friend got a sandwich. It was good, but I've had better. I asked someone if I should go to the Blossom restaurant and they said the menu there is really similar but much more expensive because it's not a cafe atmosphere like here.

Amazing Food - Edit
The buffalo cauliflower bites are incredible! The shakes are unbelievable. Everything is delicious and vegan and can either scratch that fast food itch or the healthy kale itch. Seating is very limited.

The egg, cheese, & bacon muffin was flavorful, but crumbled all to pieces. The mac n cheese needs more taste.

blossom du jour offers delicious and wide range to choose from items on the menu, e.g. every burger and sandwich + sides were amazing. this particular place has seats by window and by walls, otherwise take away, no restroom.

baby's first vegan experience - Edit
Blossom du Jour was the first all-vegan restaurant I ever went to. Although I was a vegetarian for years, I wasn't sure about the whole vegan thing. This place proved to me that a life without dairy or eggs can be just as tasty as a life with them. I got the unchicken griller, and fully enjoyed every delicious bite. This place is quick and easy for a meal, and incredibly delicious.

Nice breakfast - Edit
I had breakfast here - a breakfast scramble wrap. It was nice and convenient. These small shops have a limited menu, but enough, and are an excellent vegan choice for fast food.

Butterfinger shake - Edit
I stumbled upon this place while on vacation. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. The whole menu was strictly vegan. The butterfinger shake was incredible. The lady making it accidentally made too much, and she put the extra in a separate cup and gave that to me as well (so I shared it with my friend). Absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to come back for more food!

vegan food doesn't suck. - Edit
You say you are saving money going to get a Big Mac, but are you really? I'd rather spend the extra two bucks on a vegan egg cheese and bacon muffin, be just as full, feel lighter, and know I'm not filling my body with crap and animal innards. Delish, filling, and friendly!

Hearty Meal at the Right Price Point! - Edit
My husband and I stopped into Blossom for lunch and weren't disappointed! We both enjoy vegan meat and cheese so we split the buffalo sandwich and bacon cheeseburger they were both amazing but we agreed the bacon cheeseburger was the better of the two. The flavored were spot on, the portions were large enough to really split between two people and the service was prompt. The location was modern and upscale enough to take someone on a date or have a fancy dinner at. There were quite a few healthy options on the menu as well as some very tempting dessert options, which we passed on since we were stuffed! I would definitely come back again! I think this would be a great place to bring non veg friends and family.

Lived up to the hype - Edit
I loved this intimate, and cute place. The cheesesteak was out of this world, on soft ciabatta bread. My husband got the burger, I forget which one... Skyscraper or something similar. He liked his but found the bun to be on the stale side. We walked over to their bakery a few blks away which I'm not seeing on this app... The peanut butter cookies were amazing. My husband loved their red velvet cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies. We both found the onion rings to be a bit soggy.
