Good vegan choice - Edit
I really like this place. As others have said , the tacos are very small so I ordered those plus the vegan bowl. Both were great. Plenty of tables, right on the beach. There are free range chickens that are quite tame so not best place for dogs.
Read moreUpdate: Have been to the shack a few times now over the weeks still good food but shame the girl at the counter taking my order last week thought it acceptable to follow up "Hi how are you?" with "Would you like to leave a tip?" Cheek of it!

Best -- and one of the most affordable -- options on the island - Edit
Located on Meads Bay, it's a 20-minute walk from the Four Seasons. This is a walk-up eatery with outdoor seating adjacent to the Blanchard's restaurant (which is slightly less vegan friendly).

→ Plant based big bowl. It's a good amount of food, enough for 2 if you get a side, unless you're really hungry. Beyond burger, rice,beans, sauce, corn, onion all come together in a pile of deliciousness.
→ Vegan burger. Pretty standard beyond burger with caramelized onions. Not bad but considering it's the same price as the bowl and way less food, I'd go for the bowl.
→ Vegan tacos. There's 2 street tacos with pretty much the same ingredients as the bowl. Very good but not a lot of food.
→ VEGAN GELATO. Both chocolate and vanilla. Delicious.
Sides (fries, chips and pico) are also great.
Cocktails are delicious and a fraction of the cost of the resorts.
The wait time for food can be pretty long if it's crowded, but you're on the beach in Anguilla so just order a drink and chill out.

Tasty vegan options with Beyond meat - Edit
We went back here a couple times because they had the most reasonably priced and vegan-friendly items on Meads Bay. The tacos portion is insanely small so get the bowl, which is the same content but a much better deal. It's a good combination of beans, Beyond meat, pickled onions, rice, and sauce.

Extremely delicious vegan tacos… I only wish they were bigger or that I knew the portion would be so small (this is coming from a 98 lbs lady!). I highly recommend ordering two of these (so a total of four little tacos) if you are planning on this being your main meal. There was also a vegan bowl and some other things that were vegan on the menu. I was just impressed that they offered vegan meats (which I think was impossible meat) as well as vegan mayo and sauces. Highly recommended.

Pro tip: They have two locations, the restaurant and the beach shack. Both are located on Meads Bay Beach. The beach shack has more readily available vegan items. Still family owned and operated, if you’re on vacation in Anguilla, do yourself a favor and stop by to grab some tacos! Then pull up a lounge chair get a yourself a cold beverage and soak up the sun while listening to the ocean. Bliss!
