When im here I always order the mezze menu making them assemble it. It can be vegan as well. This restaurant is also very suitable for date night. Dishes are full of flavour. I can understand that the price is a bit steep for some because it’s not big portions.

The food was good, but not excellent in my opinion.. The hummus was crumbly (just invest in a good kitchen gadget...), and the veggies in the bean stew were undercooked. We paid €53 for what you see in the picture and I think that is way too expensive. It was nice to have all kinds of dishes to taste from but it was just not very outstanding. We went for an icecream somewhere else..

After having read all the recommendations here I went to Bla Bla with high expectations. Unfortunately they were not fulfilled: There was only a Dutch menu, no English version existed. The vegan main course was only offered for two people for the price of 26,50€ p.p., which I find too high.

Bla bla is a vegetarian restaurant and they have tons of vegan options! They can also make most vegetarian dishes vegan on request and the menu indicates that on the dishes. This place was recommended to me by another restaurant and I am thankful to that server for recommending this place.

I ordered the items under Nasi Rames (check photo) and everything was delicious. They had an English copy of the menu at the restaurant but I did not take its photo. The food is very flavorful. My dishes contained a salad with some sauce (containing peanut I believe), some chips, rice, coconut, spring roll, fried banana, jackfruit and a vegetable curry. I felt the portion size is quite big and the pricing was very reasonable. I paid only 21 euros for all this food.
I will probably return to Groningen for work and will absolutely visit this place again.

Excellent restaurant! Completely vegetarian, most things can be made vegan. We had the vegan mezzo and the vegan loempia, both were really tasty! Good amount of food, well seasoned. Will definitely go there again!😄

Bla Bla is a small vegetarian restaurant that has a really nice interior. Take out is also possible. On the menu, it is clearly indicated which dish is vegan or can be made vegan. There are also vegan logos on the wine list.

Although this supercosy restaurant has no wide range of choices on their menu, everything they serve from their mezze menu is worth eating again. So this is our favourite weekday restaurant, small and intimate. In summer you can sit on the trottoir in the evening sun on their small terrace.

I really liked the food there - i had vegan curry and as a dissert vegan cinnamon ice cream. I also liked the decoration and friendly staff. I will probably go back there someday, but it will most likely be a special occasion since the food there is pricey.
