Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

Really Underwhelming - Edit
Not quite sure how this place has managed to secure such high ratings. The menu here is small and uninspired and the food is pretty basic and bland. The place looks nice but the service was slow despite it being empty and it’s expensive for what it is. There are plenty of places with vegan options that seem much nicer in the area. It’s fine but certainly not worth going out of your way for.

Comfort food but a bit expensive for what it is - Edit
Basic comfort food with normal to small serving sizes. Food overall okay, but not amazing. Fries were soggy and the bread was hard. A bit of a tourist location vibe with everything in English, asking for tips (not customary in Denmark) and option to pay in different currency at unfavorable exchange rates. If you need a quick meal, you can get it here and not feel hungry but it’s not too fancy and for about 40€ per person one should expect more.

Excellent food - Edit
We visited Bistro Verde because of the great reviews and were not disappointed. We shared the 'steak' and the wellington followed by a decaf affogato and apple crumble. All was delicious!
Read moreThe only disappointing part of the meal is that the cocktail, an old fashioned, was very bad. It was not well made and extremely sweet.
Also, the card reader would not work so we had to go to the atm.
Pros: Fresh food, Nice atmosphere , Lots of choice
Cons: Cocktails: expensive and not well made

Gourmet vegan bistro - Edit
This restaurant serves a mix of traditional Danish light food and full bistro-style dishes. The food and service are excellent.

Great spot! - Edit
I was lucky enough to be able to have the special Christmas meal, which was a lot of fun to try. It was a lot of food but not too much; I couldn’t finish my dessert but I didn’t leave feeling too stuffed. Because I ate with a friend we got to try all four of the smorrebrod (the beet pate and the faux fish made out of a parsnip were the best two, but all were good). I enjoyed everything: the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. It was great to have a traditional Christmas meal while in Denmark!

Great food, nice place - Edit
We changed our reservation online the same night (Sunday) but it was no problem. The place was quite full. Food was good, the protein bowl a bit dry but the desserts great. The tables are a bit too close to each other.

Simply amazing - Edit
We were there 2 times. Each time everything was perfect, so tasty, simply delicious. The food is great, in a fine dining style yet the atmosphere is so relaxed and not pretentious in the slightest. My favorite type of restaurant.

Great service, menu and food. We had the shepherd pie, roasted peppers pasta, and the juicy marbles, as well as some cinnamon rolls. Everything was yummy. Would love to come back!

Tasty, expensive, small portions. - Edit
Went to Bistro Verde for dinner and it was pretty good, and certainly everything was very tasty, but for me it’s quite expensive (even for Copenhagen) for very small portions. So, I wouldn’t go again now that I know that, but can’t fault the food itself.

Noting to write home about - Edit
We visited the place in November and it was nice to have a warm place and get some food. We had Shepherd's pie and Coconut Korma, Chai latte and homemade lemonade. The latte was good, but the homemade lemonade was just lemon juice mit water and sugar. The pie had a strange aftertaste and was not very big. The Korma was lacking taste/spices(?) and the rice was overcooked. The crispy tofu that came with the Korma was good. All in all it was underwhelming and not as fancy/exquisite/tasteful as one would expect from the reviews, pictures or prices (Pie: 20 Euros, Korma: 22 Euros). Stuff was friendly and fast though.

Wow this place is just fantastic. Dinner tonight for 5, flawless food. Sure ain't cheap at US$250, but that's pretty standard for Denmark.

The hummus is 10/10. The shepherd’s pie is very small. The atmosphere is nice, but the place is crowded, there’s not a lot of intimacy.

Tasty food and super friendly service! - Edit
We went there on Saturday 10 minutes after 12 so there was lunch options. When we asked we could still have French toasts. We also got miso glazed sweet potatoes with hummus. Both were really tasty. Coffee was also good.

Nice food place - Edit
Had a nice lunch there.
Read moreDessert was great!
Had quesadillas which could have been more filled. They tasted a bit dry on the edges. There was a v-cheese-dip which tasted good but which was a little bit too less for my taste. (3 stars?)
The steak had a very meaty-structured flavour. Yummy and pricey (in my husbands opinion worthy of it 🤷). (5 stars?)

Amazing brunch! - Edit
I loved the brunch here. It had french toast with berries and syrup (it was quite eggy!), really good yoghurt and granola, bread with scrambled tofu and mushrooms, camembert and fruit. The camembert and bread was my favourite and I loved the scrambled tofu too.

Good but far from perfect - Edit
Bistro Verde in the heart of Copenhagen has a cozy, welcoming interior, though the same can’t be said about the service. The waitress was helpful but lacked warmth. I had a vegan steak with a fantastic sauce, but the steak itself was mediocre. The apple crumble was also underwhelming. Portions are small, and everything was served uncomfortably hot, burning my tongue and forcing me to wait. On the plus side, they offer a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, and the ambiance has potential. Despite this disappointing experience, I might give it another try in the future.

sehr lecker - Edit
