Best restaurant I’ve ever been too - Edit
Best food I’ve ever had with great ambiance and kind staff. Went twice when in Copenhagen. Once for breakfast where I got the tofu scramble on toast with an americano and danish. All of it was amazing! Went back for an apérol spritz, pasta carbonara, and tiramisu. All vegan and divine! Must visit!

4.5 stars - Tasty but not excellent - Edit
We came here once during the day for a mid-day treat (pumpkin pecan pie and smørrebrød). That was very delicious! Then we came back another day in the evening for dinner and had the pumpkin soup, carbonara pasta and mushroom/mashed potato stew. The carbonara was a bit bland and lacked flavour unfortunately. For dessert we shared a pistachio tiramisu which was good but also not wowing us. All in all very good place to eat, but there are better vegan restaurants here.

Lovely customer service. Always love a fully vegan place. The food wasn't mind-blowing but it was good. Very good cappucino.

Loved it - Edit
Knowing you’re going to a 100% vegan restaurant immediate puts you at ease. Mid-afternoon or a Saturday and I got a nice table in comfortable cosy surroundings. Of course the other advantage is there’s lots of options. I fancied juicy marbles steak but I have that at home a lot some opted for the mushroom bourguignon with a crispy cauliflower starter. Both plates were delicious and ample sized portions.

Very expensive for the portion size. Had the fishy fillet smørrebrød and it didn't taste fishy at all.

Amazing food - Edit
If it wasn't labeled completely vegan I would have doubted it. It's so delicious. Had the smørrebrød with vegan salmon and caviar, the chocolate mousse cake as desert. Absolutely fantastic.

A little underwhelmed - Edit
I had the salmon smørrebrød and a side of miso sweet potatoes. The bread was alright but nothing spectacular, and the rocket/arugula was not so fresh (some leaves were turning yellow). The sweet potatoes were also okay. I tasted my friends’ pasta carbonara and fried fish bread, I think they tasted better than what I picked! So maybe I was just a bit unlucky this time.

Best vegan experience in Copenhagen - Edit
Best vegan experience I had in Copenhagen during my trip. Went here twice for lunch and enjoyed every dish! A lot of variety in delicious vegan food, and a cozy atmosphere. Even my carnivore friend was impressed. Would definitely come back 💚

It’s always great to find a fully vegan restaurant. But there was a very stressed energy and lots of shouting when we arrived. The food was good but served lukewarm.

We went during restaurant week and had 3 courses for about £33 per person. Excellent value! The starter and dessert were fabulous, I was less keen on the main but still great for a set menu. Cocktails are excellent and imaginatively seasonal. Lovely warm atmosphere was welcome on a cold autumn night.

If you’re looking for fast food, Bistro Verde is not the place. Over the course of more than two hours, I was served delightful bread with dip, crispy cauliflower, spaghetti carbonara, and some of the best vegan desserts I’ve had anywhere.

Good food, poor service - Edit
We really wanted to like this place as one of the few fully vegan options in Copenhagen. We arrived 3 minutes after the time of our booking and our outdoor table was given away while we were standing waiting to be welcomed to the restaurant. They found us another table indoors at the back, and then they ignored us for 20 minutes. No apology when they did finally remember us. Our food arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes after we got there. The food was good but our experience had already been spoiled by that point. Then the icing on the cake: next day we received an email telling us off for having made a reservation and not showing up.
Read moreWe might give the place another chance one day in the hope that perhaps they were short of staff that day. But if they had just been a little nicer to us or slightly apologetic about the wait, it might have made it all ok.

Such a cute place - Edit
The restaurant had a very beautiful interior and the waitresses were extremely kind and attentive. The food was excellent – absolutely delicious and served in a very generous portion. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. The only small downside was the lemonade, which tasted quite sour even though it didn’t seem to contain anything that should have made it sour. However, that didn’t spoil the experience at all. The prices were on the higher side, but I suppose that’s quite normal for Denmark and Copenhagen.
