An okay store

The store was easy to find. There was a wide selection of vegan foods like tofu and plantmilks, seitan, chocolate etc., anything you'd need. A bit pricey though.

Pros: Easy to find, Good enough selection

Cons: Pricey, Not the friendliest staff

useful resourxe

Lovely shop. Helpful staff. Lots of vegan options: tofu, cookies, seitan, crackers, pasta, houmous, vegan cheese....you get the picture. There is also a decent selection of vegan branded toiletries.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Tofu and tofu and more tofu, Centrally located in old town

Lifesaving

Bio bio was a great small health store with a big vegan selection. I was super happy to find good vegan chocolate, tofu, Oatly's and great chips! A must visit while in split

Fancy little health store

Well located with an appealing design, offers many types of products, which are mostly imported from Northern and Western Europe and are, consequently, more expensive.

Pros: Big variety of products

Cons: Quite expensive

Great store

Very good store with a good variety of healthy and vegan products. Price is a higher for the area, but not that much compared to the same products in other countries of Europe. Worth it.

Great little organic shop

This is a well-presented shop with a great selection of organic products, including many vegan and local ones.

This location is in the old town, and is comparatively swish, but the other location (R.K. Prima) has parking, so that one might be better if you're driving.

Prices are what one would expect from a small health food store.

Everything you need in one place

I just love bio&bio. This one is newly opened and is located in city center, so you can always grab some snacks on the go. I shop here at least two times a week. On monday, wednesday and friday they stock on fresh products (various organic fruit and veggies, freshly baked breads, sandwiches, cakes and cookies). You can find great range of whole grains, cereals, beans, pasta, bread, soy and rice yoghurts-desserts, vegan ice-cream, plant milks, seitan, tofu, tempeh, snacks, chocolates, raw kale chips, raw bars etc.

Pros: great variety of vegan food, vegan cosmetics, fresh organic fruit and veggies

Cons: some items are a bit too expensive

Well stocked, but expensive

Bio&Bio is a Croatian health food store chain.

They sell many exotic foods that can't be found elsewhere in Croatia (teff, canihua). The products are very expensive (imported brands like Chocoreale, Sojade, Viana, Taifun, are more expensive than elsewhere in Europe), so I shop there only for their own brand (which is very good, I love their miso and umeboshi vinegar), nutritional yeast and agar (when I don't visit Austria, where they are cheaper, in a while), and vegetables which I can't find elsewhere cheaper.

Sadly, although they sell dairy cheese, they don't sell vegan cheese.

Their store in Ozaljska is more spacious than their other stores, is usually well stocked, and has a few parking spaces for the patrons.

Not everything they sell is vegan, so if the ingredient list is in Croatian only, ask the employees to translate.

Pros: spacious, well stocked, parking space

Cons: out of the city centre, expensive, no vegan cheese

I believe you mistaked this bio&bio for another one when saying it's not in city centre. This one is in city centre (Morpurgova poljana) and the other one (Ruđera Boškovića- Prima) is not :-)

Well, this is really strange. The review I wrote is for (now closed) bio&bio in Ozaljska ulica in Zagreb. I guess HappyCow recycled the old listing and just changed the location.
