Lovely little vegan haven - Edit
Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. The room was cozy and stocked with everything you could need. Chantal was very welcoming and service in the morning was great.

Cozy vegan paradise in Weston-Super-Mare - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bijou! The charming B&B is run by Chantal, Ollie and Petra and is newly refurbished; everything is clean, new and fresh and the interior design has been given a lot of thought and attention to detail. Chantal gave us a very warm welcome and is an incredible hostess! It was my birthday not too long ago and she gave me a bottle of prosecco which was so generous...!
Read moreBijou is 100% vegan (food, drinks, amenities etc) and has a firm sustainability policy in place. Recycling is taken seriously, every aspect of waste is thought through, even the gas and energy suppliers are green.
There is a not-so-hidden "cubby hole" under the staircase with goodies such as vego chocolates, games and books etc.
Breakfast was amazing, Chantal catered for my gluten-, soya-, sugar-free diet (which even I struggle with atm) and made delicious pancakes, my fiancé has the fry up which looked enviable...
Definitely a gem, a paradise for vegans - rarely are *all* options vegan and we get a break from checking labels - would defo love to return in the summer!

Vegan Sanctuary In Weston super Mare - Edit
Bijou B&B has only been open a few weeks and it's a completely vegan establishment with an emphasis on being as eco friendly as possible, along with offering as much organic produce too. Owner Chantal has put her heart and soul into renovating the property and it shows. Her attention to detail is faultless and the place is immaculate, you want for nothing. There is a guest cupboard to restock the coffee pods for the coffee machine ( even the pods are recycled) ironing board, games, books, extra blankets and more. There is a lovely hospitality tray in the room with a small jar of Oreo biscuits, a small bottle of fruit cordial, a bottle of freshly filtered water and a flask of plant milk of your choice. The bathroom has a big walk in shower, vegan organic eco toiletries and an essentials box with sanitary products, safety pins, paracetamol, shoe mitt & shower cap. There are plenty fluffy towels and there is a hairdryer in the wardrobe and bins under the dressing table with one for recycling. There is a detailed information pack with everything you need to know including local vegan friendly restaurants and cafes. The breakfast is amazing with a buffet of various cereals, fruits, juices, smoothies, yogurt, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, croissants, Danish pastries and then a choice of full vegan fry up or a variation depending on your taste and then specials like pancakes, avocado and houmous on toast, lots of toast, conserves, tea, coffee and selection of plant milks. The breakfast will last you all day, its delicious homemade satisfying food. I loved Bijou and Chantal is a perfect host. I have allergies and prior to my arrival she went through all her breakfast options and wrote a detailed email of suitable items, so I felt exceptionally safe in her hands and no request is too small. Easy to get to the seafront so in a good location...Highly recommended.
