Best vegan carbonara I have had

Bella Italia has a vegan/veggie menu which is quite small, but you can also request quite a few items on their main menu to be veganised. The starter had plenty of houmous but I felt could do with more than one piece of crostini as I was left with a lot of houmous. I felt like the service was impeccable as it was no hassle for me to explore different options and our server made sure I didn't feel any different to others ordering their meals. The pleasant experience I had at the Middlebrook restaurant was so good that I went back a few weeks later with my children. Highly recommend the vegan carbonara! Edit; since I left this review they have now extended their vegan range even more, I am so impressed and the food is delicious, made a meal with my non vegan family so easy and a lovely experience.

The "starter" was very small. Had lots of houmous left over, you only get a tiny ciabatta but it was tasty.
The pizza was nice but very hot (as stated on the menu) don't get it if you don't like heat.
The dessert was the best bit. 10/10.
I got the "melograno e arancia" drink. Don't bother getting it. It comes in a can and cost £3.39 and tastes like nothing. #Veganuary

Pros: Lots of vegan options
