What a find! - Edit
Came at a really busy time and threw orders at the staff for a family of 4- and the way they dealt with everything around them to produce amazing quality food was just incredible. Could have stayed here all day and hopefully will make it back before we travel back home ❤
Read morePros: Everything seems to be vegan, and delicious!
Cons: They are temporarily situated down a side road.. , ... so be patient with Google maps- its worth it!

Love is in the food - Edit
Have been to the Beet Bar twice and have not been disappointed. The food is all made from scratch with good sized portions and great value for money. You can taste the care and attention in all the dishes. The staff are friendly with a welcoming ambience. The decor is fresh and the place feels healthy. Good music too 💜

Might be listed as cheap but the portions are tiny - Edit
It’s can get bit tricky to find it, it’s located at car park in the inner yard of buildings, very beautiful around there.
Read moreWe had raw thali, hummus and bread, and jerk jackfruit wrap to share in two people. Unfortunately I must say that most of the food was lacking any flavour. I wouldn’t be afraid use more spices. The wrap was cold and came much lter then the previous food which we were waiting for for pretty long. On a hot day on a cycling trip a didnt mind leaving the place with not feeling full but yeah, the portions were small.
For three meals and two drinks we paid just over £20.
Pros: Location

Not cash only -they take cards. Good food, rude service and long wait - Edit
We ate here after doing a local 10 mile running race. I had eaten here before and had a good experience, but this visit was negative. I asked the lady serving where the nearest cash point was (as the listing said it was cash only). She was dismissive and said no idea. High street?’. I said ‘oh aren’t you cash only?’ She said ‘no’ and I said ‘happy cow says you are’ ‘ she said (rudely) ‘ what’s happy cow, no idea what you’re talking about’... surprising for someone working in a vegan cafe. Coffee took 35 minutes to arrive, food took 50 minutes. My friend went to ask about the food after we’d been waiting 45 minutes and was told ‘there are lots of people ahead of you’- When we ordered there was only one table of two ahead of us., the other table of two had finished their food already. We had avo on toast and the toast was completely cold. I’m sure this was a one off and the server was having a bad day, but it was a really negative experience all round.

Well worth tracking down! - Edit
I did a recce a couple of days beforehand, so I found it easily this time around! Nice, airy atmosphere, friendly staff. I sat inside out of the midday Margate sun.
Read moreI had the Buddha Bowl, my first proper vegan meal out since I arrived. It was delicious and generously proportioned, with new potatoes, rainbow veg, hummus, gherkins and s topping of sprouts with a dressing on the side.
Dessert: very pleasant Pear and Chia Pudding served in a martini glass! Desserts all priced at £3 😜
Closes fairly early, 4pm so make sure you know where it is if you’re near that time! Highly recommended 😜
Pros: It’s vegan, pure and simple, Nice and airy, with plenty of outside seating , Great food, nice filter coffee
Cons: Can be hard to find, Top right hand corner of car park, Take first alley on right down Market St.

We loved this place... light and welcoming, friendly people and nice tunes. The food was all delicious, with lots of effort made to freshen up old favourites...raw apple crumble was a great example. Mix of raw and cooked, all vegan and good value too.. highly recommended!

Hidden away relaxed vegan cafe - Edit
This cafe doesn’t get much footfall so you have to seek it out but it’s very close to the shopping lanes and the front. It’s chilled out inside with various hot dishes such as soups, curries and stews as well as smoothies and all the rest - all vegan. I had some very nice winter vegetable soup and bread. Good to support fellow vegans and their businesses!
