I ate lunch here with a friend; his meal, the Rising Sun Bowl, looked amazing and had lots of variety, and he kept going on and on about how great it was.
Read moreMy bowl, the Karma Bowl, was very odd. It was just quinoa, lentils, bbq tempeh and salad dressing. I did not enjoy this meal at all.
I wish there were more gluten-free options. There is very little to choose from if you have allergies.
The service was pretty good, although a bit slow, and the room is interesting to sit in. I would go back if they added more GF options.

We loved the fresh veggies in the sushi roll appetizer, the walnut crumble cashew mac and cheese, and the teriyaki soycurls in the sunrise bowl! The rich creamy cashew cheese in the mac was a stand out!

So good we came back twice. Great option for fully vegan eating in Vancouver. Variety of options for all tastes. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Friendly and welcoming. Restaurant has a good vibe.

The restaurant was buzzing when we arrived - always a good sign, particularly having walked past a number of establishments which were virtually empty.

The Mac (and cheese) was delicious, and you will not be disappointed with the portion size.
The rose we had from the specials menu was superb - one of the best I've tasted, and was a local wine.
All complemented by the staff, who were attentive, engaging and helpful.

The MaC N Cheeze here is amazing (and gluten free). My only complaint is that every single item on the lunch menu has Kale. I have an allergy, so it’s a bit frustrating that there is not more variety in that regard.

My favourite place to go for a fancier/ special occasions vegan meal. It's really the only place to go in Victoria for a fancy vegan meal but that's neither here nor there.
Read moreThe prices are higher than average but that's the price you pay to always have to ask your waiter what is in every one of their specials because they use the fanciest chef language possible. They also change out their specials regularly so it gives a nice feeling of adventure whenever you order there.
To be honest, their specials aren't always a success though. I've found a couple meals bland.
Mac and cheese is always a favorite (trust me they make it unique) and the green bowl is good as well.
I would avoid their sides as they are very small and over priced.

Be love is my fav resto in Victoria, it’s so so good. From the beautiful venue to the incredible local wine and beer, to the seasonal menu.. it’s such a treat to go there. Even though it’s not 100% vegan and I consider myself to be, Be Love is totally worth checking out if you crave something unique and delicious.

Hubby had falafel burger which he loved. I had the mac and cheese which had a nice flavor, but was incredibly greasy. There was a half inch of olive oil in the bottom of the empty bowl when he finished my dish. Will try a salad next time to avoid the oil.
