Tons of hype for this place. Not sure why. Pretty standard everything. Much better vegan burritos and coffee elsewhere in Tucson. Not that it's terrible but not special or interesting either.

I got a potato, bean, soyrizo burrito with green chile and vegan cheese added! It was amazing! The Mazipan latte with oat milk was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Staff was very informed about vegan options!

The best vegan breakfast burrito that exists - Edit
Not to be dramatic, but I would die for this breakfast burrito. I will wait for 10 hours i dont care how long the line is. Get the breakfast burrito, no egg no cheese, add soyrizo, vegan tamale, and guacamole for an absolutely unbelievable experience. Mouth feel, perfect. Taste, perfect. Size, perfect. Salsa, PERFECT. Just make sure you ask for enough salsas to drench the burrito. The staff know what is vegan, are super friendly, and have never once made a mistake on my order. I am just frankly obsessed

Knowledgeable, friendly, and yummy! - Edit
We were slightly confused about the menu so we just asked the employee taking orders and she immediately knew what we could get and was super friendly and helpful. We ended up with a breakfast burrito with potatoes, soyrizo, refried beans, green chilies, and avocado plus an extra tamale on the side. Both were really good, and/but I wouldn’t have minded a little more seasoning on the potatoes. I also got a an iced soy horchesso latte (horchata espresso) which was FANTASTIC!!! We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

The tamales are GREAT, the staff is fun and informed about vegan food, and the coffee is the best in Tucson. There are tons of authentic vegan Mexican options, my favorite being Marzipan cold brew. Ask Ariana for help ensuring there is no dairy in your drink and they will take care of you. Barista del barrio brings vibrance and a sense of community to the neighborhood and I truly love the business!

Delicious coffee - Edit
If they had more vegan options (or clearly-rated vegan options), I would have given a higher rating. Order the bean and potato burrito and a vegan tamal for a delicious vegan breakfast. The burrito is served in pairs (one for now and one for later, or eat both now as I did). Topped off with a plant milk coffee, it was a delightful breakfast at a terrific price. Even though the vegan options are limited, the staff is helpful and willing to remove the dairy to make them vegan friendly.
