We ate here 3 times as we knew the pasta was vegan friendly and it was just so fantastic. Really reasonably priced, generous portions, tasty produce. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to queue of an evening though!

The vegan options are limited and not marked on the menu, but the spaghetti all'assassina (a local speciality) is vegan by default and very tasty, and there are a couple of other vegan options (spaghetti with garlic, oil, pepper, pizza marinara) and they were happy to make an off-menu vegan pizza and salad for us too.
Read moreAs well as the food being tasty and generous, the staff stands out for being especially friendly (in a place where good, friendly service is the norm) and the setting -- outside on the terrace of a not-busy street -- is lovely.
People queue on the street to get a table here, and yet there's no pressure to eat quickly and free up your table. It seems like many people don't stay for long anyway, and so the wait for a table might never be very long.

The bruschetta, spaghetti aglio e olio and house red was a delicious dinner.
Read moreI couldn’t finish the pasta, as the portion size was too big, but I asked for a doggy bag and enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day.
The outside seating area is very cosy and romantic.

Pretty good local restaurant with a few vegan options. Menu is clearly labeled so you can order with ease. The spaghetti all'assassina was delicious and generously portioned. Being one of Bari's traditional dishes, it's definitely worth trying. This place does fill up quick, so I'd recommend getting here before 8 for dinner.

We had the all’assassina, which is a speciality from Bari that the waitress confirmed was vegan. It was very good and it was great to be able to try a speciality from the area as often specialities have meat. We also had the marinara pizza which was good

We had dinner at this restaurant and it was amazing, there was a big waiting line so we had the chance to talk with some local people who told us that it was a really good place and good price! It was indeed, our waitress was vegan so she helped us with our choices and everything was delicious!

although they didn’t have many vegan options when I went, the bruschetta and both pasta dishes I tried were all amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful as well, definitely don’t miss out on this place!

I had a few meals here while I was in Bari, both because the food was wonderful but also because the staff treated me like they'd known me for years. They came up with inventive vegan options for me and made sure everything I tried was what I'd hoped for. Can't recommend highly enough!

I asked for spaghetti puttanesca without the tuna, and OMG, their tomato sauce is amazing! 🥰 The dish was like 1/2 kg of pasta, I could barely walk after eating this much but the struggle was definitely worth it, amazing food! My friend ordered marinara and also loved the sauce, 12/10 🤩

The staff was very willing to adapt dishes to vegan diets and made suggestions on what changes to make. I had the spaghetti alla puttanesca without tuna & both the homemade pasta and sauce were so good. Nice spot!

The pasta is fresh and made with no eggs. Who knew that tomato sauce could be so incredibly delicious?! I wish I could come here again! The staff were also incredibly accommodating and willing to make special vegan dishes especially for me!
