Good

Good overall experience. Periogi with cabbage and mushrooms was great. Be careful with the cheese periogi option. It's marked as vegan but it uses animal cheese.

Did not eat here because of the service

Extremely unfriendly and unprofessional service, we did not manage to get our order in at all in the end, so we did not eat here

Great food, get the spinach piroggi

I came here twice and was extremely happy with the spinach piroggi. Great amount of filling, nice spices on top. Staff speaks little English but is very lovely.

Pros: Tasty piroggi

Clearly marked vegan options on the menu

I went here with my 2 children for dinner one evening. Menu is in Polish but we Google translated it all very easily. Staff didn't speak much English but got everything ordered without drama and with a lot of pointing! Food came quickly and was nice. Apple and cranberry dumplings were a lovely desert. 5 dishes plus 3 drinks for less than £32 so couldn't complain.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options in the menu

Cons: No table service

Great food

The food: very tasty food with a great choice of vegan options. Mainly Polish style cuisine. Would highly recommend based on food
The service: service was far from warm and friendly. My husband was spoken to fairly rudely (Polish is his first language so this wasnt a language barrier issue). If this sort of thing bothers you this is maybe not the place for you.

Tldr, food fabulous service not so much

Good taste and prices

We were very hungry after a hike and Las (which is always are go to option) is closed on Mondays. I quickly checked here on HC other options and found this one. The beetroot and salve patty was full of sunflower, sesame and other seeds and so delicious! It comes with either rice or buckwheat, tomato or mushroom sauce and a variety of 3 salads costing 28pln. Another option we took were pierogi with sauerkraut and mushrooms for 26pln, also very good. The food feels like something you would have at grandmas place which is very refreshing and hard to find nowadays. We ate before taking any photos. They were out of pierogi with cranberries and apples but we’ll surely come back for them ;)
Dishes are labeled as vegetarian and vegan tho there’s chicken ot veggie section. But when I asked I was told the ones marked as vegan are 100% vegan so I guess something was wrong in the process of creating the menu.

A great spot for a great price

This was the only place we could find with veggie options in Zakapane, we went about 6:30pm and some of the options were sold out. We had to use google translate for the menu as no English at the cafe. The food was great, very filling! Had the falafel dish. Really good price too, however it is self serve.

Pros: Falafel dish, Portion size, Price

Generalnie ok

Jadłam tam kilka razy zanim otworzyli Las, który polecam z całego serca. Jedzenie dobre, szczególnie polecam pierogi z kapustą i grzybami i falafle.
Jedynie obsługa tak jakby trochę nie ogarnia, bo mają w menu zupy oznaczone jako wegańskie, ale makaron, który się w nich znajduje nie jest wegański i obsługa sama o tym informuje nie widząc w tym nic dziwnego.

The best pierogis!

The spinach pierogis here were my favourite pierogis the whole trip (and I ate a lot!) Be careful ordering as it isn't fully vegan, check they are the vegan ones as my friend was accidently given meat ones. They sorted it straight away but just double check.

Really good food

I had spinach and apple&cranberry pierogis! The price was more than good.
The "sauce" that came with the sweet pierogi isn't vegan.
Neither is one vegan labelled pierogi on the menu, but there are more than enough options.
The staff there was nice.

The opening hours are not clear. Happy cow says 8pm, google says 9pm.

Very rude service

The ruddest service I've ever experienced.

A guy before us tried to order, but the woman serving rudely snapped that they don't speak english here. When we went to order, she then snapped at us and said no more orders we're finished. However, some polish speaking customers went in after us and were served. This was an hour and a half before closing time.

Good food

Many vegan options of traditional Polish. Cabbege & mushroom pierogi and spinach variants went down fantastically after a day hiking. No nonsense eatery with beer and dumplings. Very affordable

Great meal in Krupowki promenada

We ordered pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms (mushrooms wasn't feel the taste) and spinach pierogy. Pierogi with cabbage was great, on the top was fried onion.
Staff wasn't too friendly.

Pros: Taste of food, In centrum, Good price

Cons: Small place, Unfriendly staff

Super flavorful and great price

We ordered the potato pancakes and spinach pierogi and both were amazing. Seasoned perfectly no sauce needed. Plus everything is affordable. You just order at the bar and bus yourself.

Delicious pierogi!

Clearly labelled and a variety of vegan choices. We had the tomato soup, with a serving of spinach pierogies and mushroom cabbage pierogies. Despite being hungry, we took some home! The price was very reasonable given the location just off the main street, even for the beer.

Pros: Delicious food, Good price and portion size

Traditional Polish food

A good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Some traditional options such as pierogi and kasza. The staff spoke very little English but were helpful and had an English translation of the menu. Great value and pleasant inside. We ate here twice. They only took cash though.

Very tasty

Vegan options clearly marked. Lovely tomato soup and delicious dumplings. Order at the counter, collect meals from the counter, take your dishes to the hatch when finished. They call out the order number when ready (if you don't speak polish, try to sit near the counter so you can see). Would return and recommend

Pros: Dumplings , Soup , Traditional

Affordable & tasty vegan polish food 🇵🇱

You order at the counter and take the food to a table of your choice, so it does not feel like a fancy restaurant but therefore, the prices are very affordable. We paid 66 słoty (~15,50€) for two drinks (Kompot), a portion of pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms and beetroot cutlets with buckwheat, mushroom sauce and a side salad. Everything tasted great. We will come again for the spinach pierogi and tomato soup 🥟
