All together this area of Prenzlauer Berg is not just "vegan friendly", it's a vegan paradise. In the sea of all the vegan restaurants is Bamerang, an awesome little vegan rock bar. Perfect place for chilling outside, drinking a beer and snacking on some vegan nachos! Not to mention they have vegan wine and prosecco which is pretty hard to find when going out. So if you are in the area definitely stop by.

Found this place after going to Lia's Kitchen, which is about a 10 minute walk from here. Drinks are great, music is great and the staff are so lovely. Really warm, friendly atmosphere, definitely recommend a visit.

Read moreI've been here several times now and I really appreciate having them in my neighbourhood! Lovely staff and service! The menu has gotten smaller and better and the drinks are really good. I love being able to choose any drink I want without worrying whether it's vegan! Prices are very affordable for Berlin too.

I live just up the street and decided to finally give this place a try. The owners are just lovely! They really take pride in what they are doing. I had a burrito and a cappuccino with Jameson. The tortilla of the burrito was impressive - they apparently make it themselves! The filling was a bit different I have to admit -a mix of kidney beans and baked beans- but still okay for Germany😄It did come with two small pickled chilis and a side of nachos which I found nice. The portion was a good size too. They also do a German menu which I'm very interested in trying next time! The cappuccino with Jameson was really good! The music was that of a jukebox at a local bar in a US Midwestern trailer park - if that's your thing you should enjoy it. It's small and comfy with outside seating. I would recommend it.

Great place to drink beer and have a bite. Super cozy place, nice staff, great music. But only one beer from tap and the food (nachos and burritos) was good but not great.

Really enjoyed my stay at Bämerang. It’s kinda like a rock-pub, where they also offer some yummy vegan and homemade snacks. We had some ‚nachos von queso‘ with guacamole and sour cream dip, a hot white chocolate with whipped cream, plum-tarte and some lemonade. Everything vegan of course and super delicious! The employees were welcoming and friendly too. Really liked the relaxed atmosphere.

The cocktails and cake was the highlight for me. We got one of everything from the food and cake menu and we weren’t disappointed. Loved listening to the alternative music in a nice warm and cosy bar. The waitress was lovely and a plus for us could speak English.

What a great place! So good to be able to listen to rock music when eating vegan food rather than the usual techno or ambient/world music(shudder!). Great decor too!

The food was really tasty and mexican-y. We had the Bameritos which was really tasty and a very good size. For dessert we had the cheesecake which was fantastic, to be honest if I wasn't a diabetic I'd have sampled each and every one of the desserts they all looked so tasty!
We tried to go back on the Thursday evening but all the public transport was stopped due to the storm that Germany that day.
We are hoping to hit Berlin again next Spring and we will definitely be back to Bamerang.
If you are a fan of good heavy rock music and vegan food you won't want to miss this place.
Oh and the beer is good too!

This definitely isn't your typical vegan café. The atmosphere of this place is refreshing, the interior very original. The service is amazing: Very friendly and a little bit witty, too. We had the tiramisu cake and it was the best cake we have eaten in a long time. Highly recommend!

If you miss tiramisu since turning vegan, this is the place to go! The cake was delicious and the service was great. I had never heard of a rock-metal bar/dessert and coffee shop, but it works! I'd go there again (and probably would order the same thing ahah)!

I love the welcoming atmosphere of Bämeräng. And the music, of course. And the free wifi. I got their nachos, but must admit, I'm not a big fan (but I'm also pretty picky, especially regarding vegan cheese). I also got a sort of virgin (= non-alcoholic) mojito - and it was amazing! Thier iced chocolate milk was also perfect. And I loved their chocolate cookie with nougat filling (even though that it technically was more cakey than cookie-like in texture).

I got here just before closing time and I am so glad I got to experience this bar. The owners are a mother-daughter team and you can tell that they love veganism, they love metal, and they love their customers. This spot is known around Berlin for their beer and cake. I tried the tiramisu cake and the carrot cake. No regrets. Everything was perfect and I would definitely return here many times the next time I'm in Berlin.
