Good but not spicy

We ordered a take away on 18 April 2020. We asked for vegan dishes as they weren’t indicated on the menu. We had samosas, pakora, veg madras, baingan bartha and steamed rice. All good though the bartha was a little lacking (more like a mild curry sauce than a curry). Next time we need to ask for hotter as there wasn’t much of a kick to it, so if you like spicy, ask for more.

Pros: Good variety of veggie and vegan dishes, Reasonable prices

Cons: Vegan not indicated on the menu

Very filling full meal deal

Stopped in for dinner, and asked the waitress what the vegan options were. I ended up getting the madras curry full meal deal. I enjoyed the curry, rice, salad, and the bread. The pakoras were not how I expected them to be - they were longer strips of veggies (mostly potato) which were fried in a lentil batter. Not my favourite, nor my partner's, but good nonetheless. The curry was quite good, and the bread was warm and tasty.

I found it to be quite hot in the restaurant (on a 34 degree C day), although we weren't seated underneath the fans. Service was good and fairly fast.

Pros: Vegan Options
