I went on a Monday evening an hour before they close. All six tables were occupied, but I asked one solo diner if she minded if I took an empty seat across from her. Only one young man was handling the orders and the kitchen, and he seemed to be overworked, especially with the UberEats orders also coming in.
Read moreI got the A B section combination for NT$110. From section A, I got the signature vermicelli, and from section B, I chose the innovative-sounding stinky tofu roll. I wasn’t expecting the portions to be so huge! Luckily, the additional order I placed for their okra didn’t come out before I’d finished eating, so I just asked for a refund.
Good spicy chili oil: added a nice kick to the vermicelli. Reusable metal utensils also in the back. They use melamine dishware, though.
Why the star deduction? The employee’s boss came by later and wouldn’t stop yelling at him about how incompetent or slow she thought he was. I felt awkward: that’s not the way people should be treated.
Pros: all vegan, large portions

The tofu was very fresh and you can tell with the first bite that it was a well-made healthy tofu. It differs from tofu from night markets where they use a lot of sauces and garlic to give it flavor. The tofu itself already has a good aroma and texture that it really does not need extra flavoring. Try it yourself and you will see what I mean.
