Great vegan options, make a reservation!

I've had the vegan platter and the Zahir with Beitenjan Laffa (sandwich with eggplant, fried cauliflower, hummus, pickles and tomato).

Vegan platter and hummus

The vegan platter was very filling and good but the hummus was amazing, probably the best I've had

A vegan platter with all the good stuff

I gotta be honest, sometimes I get kinda...falafel'ed out. I mean don't get me wrong, I like them very much but they're so prevalent now, that I find it hard to get too excited about them. What I like about Ayat's vegn platter is that it has more than just falafel on it. The grape leaves are stunning. The fried cauliflower and eggplant is a spicy, delight. And yes, the falafel are excellent, but I love that they got more going on there on that plate than just chickpea balls.

*UPDATE (March 9, 2025) They have vegan kefta!! It’s not printed on the paper menu but it is on their online order menu. If you ask for it in the restaurant they will make it! Comes with rice and salad. Extremely delicious!!
