Sadly this restaurant has changed hands and no longer offers a vegan menu - indeed I had to explain to the very nice but very inexperienced waitress what vegan actually meant! (Sadly not the first time I’ve had to do that!).
Read moreI did manage to choose something off the menu that was very nice. However, my carnivore partner had seafood which had not been cleaned properly rendering it inedible. Not only is this very dangerous but when we challenged the chef about it he either didn’t know or didn’t care about the consequences - they even tried to charge us for it!
For me, it called into question the cleanliness of the kitchen as a whole, to boot. Please don’t risk your health or your ethics by eating here!!

They have a special section in the menu mentioning about five vegan dishes.

We had the palak paneer (they use tofu instead of cheese) and the aloo (potato) curry.
They also give you some papadum while waiting.
Both curries were good, and the service was friendly.
There are not many options in Limoges for dinner as a vegan, so it's always great to find a place serving Indian food where vegan dishes are marked and you don't need to ask about ghee/yogurt/etc.
Pros: marks vegan, opening times, friendly service
Cons: not all vegan, basic vegan dishes
