Best vegan eggs - Edit
I think you could give it to someone and they wouldn’t even know it’s not vegan if you didn’t tell them. I’ve been vegan for six years, and the last time I ate eggs was quite a while ago. Even my boyfriend, who isn’t vegan, was really excited about it.

I came to try the vegan eggs benedict and was not disappointed. It was very good and the vegan eggs were very authentic. The strawberry lemonade was also very nice and they have free water to drink besides that.

I haven’t anything like Asante’s poached eggs since going vegan - absolutely incredible. Do not miss this brunch spot if you’re visiting Barcelona. Pair it with a visit to Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, Fundació Joan Miró, and a stroll through Jardins del Teatre Grec and you’ve got yourself a great day out.

When visiting Barcelona, not having many plant based options was a worry for me, so I made an effort to research places that sold vegan food, and Asante was the most popular café I saw on every video or review, so I had high expectations. These expectations were met and exceeded! The staff were very polite and helpful as well, and made me feel very comfortable even as an English speaker in Spain. The menu was simple but everything was done well, and they had a great selection. I'd never tried vegan eggs before and was pleasantly surprised. Presentation was beautiful and, given the opportunity, I would love to return!

In my almost 10 years as a vegan I've never eaten anything that even comes close to resembling an egg as well as the Eggs Benedict here. The color, the texture, the flavor: everything was unbelievably similar to a hen egg.

Asante has a small menu because they are TOP NOTCH! The eggs Benedict and shakshoka to die for I wish they sold cook books or that their products were available at every street corner! I could eat here everyday. On top of that the staff is so friendly and caring, ample seating and overall a must!

It was by far the best vegan brunch I’ve ever had!! You absolutely have to go here. The egg was so authentic that it blew us away. Perfect cheesecake and great coffee. The food was world-class and the service was fantastic. Everyone was super nice, cheerful, and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We’ll definitely be back!!
