Great find - lovely brunch - Edit
Went on a Saturday and only option was brunch and it was so good. Fruits, green juice, salads, vegan cheese, cereals, savoury pastries, scrambled tofu and muchrooms, great coffee and lots of little cakes. Really nice. Also a shop selling a selection of wholefood item, flours, herbs, and awesome looking vegan cheesecake in the fridge. It is next door to an organic grocery shop/cafe that also stocks some good things.

Fantastic! - Edit
Visited while on holiday, absolutely fantastic, had the 'not chickun' burger, along with dish of the day which was 'no fish' and tomato rice. Along with deserts. All of it was absolutely great. All vegan, couldn't recommend enough!

This place was a godsend in Portimaõ, we got the Bitoque, the beyond burger, and the omelet which were all amazing! Lovely local beers from the algarve here too. The dessert of a brownie was also delicious.

creative haven in the city - Edit
A really pleasant surprise awaited us in the back streets of Portimao, I found this to be a beautiful imaginative space with really friendly welcoming people and tasty and great value food. I had the dish of the day a lightly spiced curry and basmati rice, and a brownie, it was my mums birthday (77) and my daughter (5) and her were equally pleased with their meals. A stuffed chickpea flour omelette with spinach and vegan cheese, and avocado and tomato toast, their meals were served with a decent salad garnish and home made sweet potato chips.

UPDATE:
Read moreAte here again this holiday and still fantastic! Beautiful food and atmosphere. Only made it to Portimao once this time but knew where we were heading for lunch! This time I had the special of the day which was tofu madras, which was lovely. I then has the peanut butter cake for dessert. Had my toddler again they are family friendly.
APRIL 2024:
We ate here twice on our holiday. Both times the food was brilliant and tasty. The setting is lovely too. They have highchairs and were accommodation of a toddler. The First visit i had the special which was frittas, rice and greens, really good! followed by a chocolate dessert which i wish i got one to take home! Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. Second time i chose the mushroom 'omelette' something different and i enjoyed this. Will return when in the area.

Amazing find - Edit
After struggling for a couple of days to find vegan food this place was an absolute god send. The menu is fully vegan (the 2 dishes with eggs can be substituted with vegan eggs). It took me forever to choose as there was so much amazing choice. We went for the (I can’t remember the dish names) smoked tofu with fries and vegan egg and the seitan bites which is a vegan version of a popular local dish. We had raw berry cheese cake for desert but I forgot to take a photo. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit if in the area

Amazing vegan holiday-find - Edit
We found this place on Google Maps when searching for vegan spots on holiday and it did not disappoint. The menu had a good selection of healthy but delicious meals. I was able to get a protein shake (as getting protein on holiday can sometimes be a challenge) which was banana and chocolate. We ordered the empadas (chickpea and curry / seaweed, leek and carrot), chickpea burger & the hummus/apple/avocado/tofu bruschetta. We will definitely be back before our holiday is over. 5⭐️

Amazing vegan food - Edit
Lovely staff and a really beautiful setting which you wouldn’t guess from the street it is on. Daily specials (today seitan and mushroom stroganoff and vegetable lasagne). Everything on the extensive menu appeared to be vegan. Highly highly recommend. My son had a lovely chickpea omelette, stuffed with veg and vegan cheese, but excuse the picture - he demolished it then devoured it! Hubbie and I both had the stroganoff which was beautiful and our guest had the tropical salad, which looked amazing!

They also have a packaging free shop selling pasta, nuts etc as well as great looking vegan cheeses and over homeware.
Good size portions of everything and so reasonable prices considering this .
We visited from Carvoeiro and would definitely make the trip over again just for this !
Pros: Great menu choices , Different special menu items each day, Plastic free shop inside

Great vegeterian restaurant in Portimâo - Edit
Located in an incredibly pretty place next to an art gallery. Inside there is a shop with sustainable stuff. The food is delicious yet on a pricier side. Many vegan options avaible. Also every day a new dish and juice of the day. I highly reccomend trying out the coffe from "the smoothies" in the card. The stuff is quite nice, helpfull. Also the cakes are delicious. Note that after 5pm they start closing so they probably won't serve main dishes anymore.
