Very cozy, excellent food!

This location of ain.soph is so cozy and also very big which I did not expect after visiting the one in Shinjuku. The food was very good and the affogato has such creamy ice-cream for it being vegan. Also big portions. Very friendly staff.

Pros: Very central location, Friendly staff, Good music!

Cons: A little pricier but worth it

Fresh seasonal fare

I enjoyed my meal at Ain Soph.Soar. I was seated quickly and my meal came very quickly as well. The tomato flavour in my hayashi rice was full of aroma and the zesty dressing on my fresh, leafy salad was a bright contrast. I definitely want to come back and try some of the other options on the menu.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Quick and conscientious service , Special allergy menu

Cons: A bit pricy if ordered with a special drink

Sweets and Burgers!

Completely vegan restaurant with vegan burgers and parfaits. The food was amazing! Probably the best vegan chicken sandwich I’ve had in any country. And of course the parfait. Yum! A trip to Japan is not complete without fancy parfait.
We got a pudding to go and the packed it up with little ice packs for it. We ate it on the way to the airport and it was superb.

Great vegan food

This place is easy to find and not far from Ikebukuro station. They have the junk food I love from ripple with a few extra options (curry) and even more desserts.
I had the coriander burger and it was delicious (albeit difficult to eat, but I'm a messy eat), along with fries and onion rings. It isn't super cheap, but the portions are generous.

Pros: All vegan

A good selection of vegan food, but way too expensive

The burger and curry I had were scrumptious, but not quite filling enough. They are priced way too high in my opinion. It's always cool to visit a place with unique vegan food and desserts though.

Pros: Unique burger options, Vegan desserts offered

Cons: Way too expensive

Classy but Pricey Vegan Restaurant

Read the Vegan Tokyo Guide on https://itravelforveganfood.com/vegan-tokyo-guide/

Ain Soph Soar in Ikebukuro is a vegan cafe with homey wooden decor. It has a similar menu to Ain Soph Journey in Shinjuku, but with some other items. For example, rainbow veggie tortilla roll and chocolate fondue dessert.

Overall the food is great quality and the service is amazing.

Try their famous vegan pancake if you like desserts. It’s soft and fluffy. Comes with vegan whipped cream and ice cream as well!

The price could be a bit high if you order a few items. A main, a dessert and a drink will set you back about 3000-4000 yen. But if you don’t mind spending a bit more, this cafe won’t disappoint with the quality food.

Pros: All vegan, Delicious and well made food, Great environment and staff

Cons: Pricey

A bit pricey but the food is amazing!

My girlfriend and me had the sandwich plate, a raspberry ginger soda, a soy latte and a pudding and everything was amazingly delicious.
We spent around 50 Euros, which sure is a lot, but we were so glad to have found even one vegan food option around the corner.
The staff was very friendly and capable of speaking english.
Since we had no reservation we needed to wait a few minutes for a table, but that was not much of a deal.

Pros: many different great vegan food options, exceptionally friendly staff, english menu

Cons: a bit pricey

Fresh and filling food. Amazing desserts.

Great space and food (I had the taco rice, and fried soy). The Japanese caramel pudding was excellent, I’m planning on going back to try more of their desserts (their pancake looks delicious).

Another great restaurant in the Ain Soph family

I think I prefer their sister store in Kyoto, but there might also be a difference between the dinner menu and the lunch menu. Here, I had the dinner menu. My partner and I shared the taco rice and the paella. The paella was on the bland side. I think the intention was that it be flavoured by the huge variety of vegetables on top, but I, alas, have simpler tastes. The taco rice, in the other hand, was fantastic, with vegan sour cream and wonderful fake meat.

We also ordered non-meat karage as a side dish and enjoyed that. I found the orange and blackberry drink a little unflavoured, but the non-alcohol fruity wine my partner ordered was quite good.

The prices are good for what you get, but it is not a cheap place. I could not afford to eat here in a regular basis (their lunch menu may be cheaper).

Get the pancakes. WORTH IT.

Amazing

I savoured every single morsel. Arrived at 2:40 and was just able to order before kitchen closes at 3!
I chose salad set with a side of soup and toasted baguette. It was unbelievable. I also had a soy maple latte which was unreal.
Overall: The food was amazing and I wish I could have the menu choices everywhere I go in Japan.
If you leave a review on TripAdvisor or Happy Cow you get a free dessert!!!!! I am waiting for mine now.
Thank you 😌😌😌
